PF - Crocs are great. Anyone recommend croc flip-flops (without a back strap)?

Love them. I have a few different styles. Basic flip/flop style. Loved them so much I got another pair. I also have a higher flip/flop style. I wore them to the parks. I also will add I recently had foot surgery and had no problems walking in them all day. I have them on right now. lol

I love mine - I would just make certain to get the one with the "normal" type flip flop structure. They have some that have a wider strap and those I did not like.

For PF? I though if one has PF flare ups , you can't wear any show or sandal without a back on it... no? thanks. How did you cure yours?

I have the cleo style ones. They don't look like traditional crocs and are super comfy. I have arch issues and they help with that too

We wear Crocs on our trips. I wear ones with a strap on the back (they don't look like regular crocs) my 11 & 20 year old wears the basic flip flop style and my 7 year old wears a similar style to mine, however with closed toes (she trips a lot LOL!) We love them, no problems. I tend to have problems with my feet. We also bring Nike Free runners. This trip (May 24th) I bought myself a pair of Merrells and my youngest a pair of Tevas because they were on sale. Hope they don't disappoint.

Love my croc flip flops. More comfortable than sneakers for me. I got my friends hooked on crocs lol

If there's one thing I've learned from reading the Dis over the years, it's that plantar fasciitis reacts differently to different shoes for different people. In some people it's CAUSED by flip flops. In some people it's healed from flip flops. Repeat the idea for just about any shoe out there.

OP, I like Crocs Athens flip flops. I don't seem to have PF but you asked for types of Crocs flip flops and that's one of 'em. ;)

As someone who suffers from severe foot pain - PF, metasarsalgia, and nerve pain, I recommend a similar shoe to croc but higher end. They're by Chung Shi and called Dux. You can find some on Amazon or other specialty foot stores. Way more comfy than crocs, yet similar. You can flip up back strap and go either way. They are great for water parks or rainy days. Other than that id recommend a really good walking show made for PF. Try foot smart.com too. Good luck!

Which ever you think will work for you just make sure you get the thicker crock that looks like it is two pieces on the bottom. There are some flip flops that are not cushioned and some that are nice and comfy with the cushioning.

I have achilles issues. My crocs have an elevated heel. I love them.

I recommend Teva or Keen. They are much higher quality and provide better support and attractions. Ya, they are pricey, but you get what you pay for.

I got 2 pairs of Croc flips after reading about a great deal on them on this board. While I *like* them, I don't love them. They are not as comfortable as I thought they would be and I usually end up wearing my old ones. I like Sanuk--so much cushier. The Crocs I have are ok but seem like any other flips you could get for $10 or less, but they are not the higher end Crocs. My advice, if you go with Crocs, is to find out the specific type people are recommending. Mine are called Ocean Minded Malia II and I wouldn't get those for Disney walking.

I have 3 pairs of the Cleo Croc sandals. I really like them a lot! But I have also found that no matter how comfortable the shoe, I have to change them up every other day. That is what keeps my feet really happy.

I think it depends on the foot. I cannot wear either of these 2 brands, but do well with Mephisto and Allegria.
