Petty driving experience.... how to get to Speedway??

My DH would LOVE to do the Richard Petty Driving Experience, we figured maybe just the drive along since it was the least expensive at $99. But he felt guilty even doing that. Then I just got an AmEx rewards newsletter and right on the back is 10,000 points for the drive along or 35,000 points for the full driving experience. PERFECT!!! Now I'd like to surprise him with it.

Are there buses that run to the Speedway?? We are staying at the POFQ and will not have a car. Also, can anyone tell me about the experience? How long are you usually there?? I don't know if its something the kids and I should tag along to or let him go alone.

There is a shuttle van that will take you to the speedway. You can catch the van at the TTC. I guess the quickest way would be to take the bus to MK and monorail over to the TTC.

thanks! I would love to hear from anyone who has done this. How long are you usually there for the rookie driving experience. Their website says 3 hours, wondering if that is correct?? And how long would it be just for the ride along (which I believe you can't make reservations for)???
