Pets Named After Disney Characters

Anyone have pets named after Disney characters?

Esmerelda, my older cat, is named after Esmerelda from Hunchback of Notre Dame (I named her).

Not Disney, but my dog, Scooby, is named after Scooby-Doo.

Anyone else?

We have cats we named Simba and Tigger. The problem is: Tigger is more of an Eeyore! He is so bashful (actually, he's a scaredy-cat.)

My DS & DDIL named their cat Piglet. She is cute and cuddly like Piglet

My dog's name is Cindy. Granted, we're her third owners, and her name hasn't changed. But, she really does act like a princess.

Both of my dogs are. One is named Lily, after Walt's wife. The other is named Eli and that's the shortened version of Walt Disney's middle name: Elias.

And I have three parakeets: Bibbidi, Bobbidi and Boo. They're magical.

Naw....Kitty number one is Jonsie (like the cat from the Alien movie). Kitty number 2 is Tom (as in Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine).

Unless Disney is getting into heavy metal and they are going to turn Alien into a Pixar franchise.....I think my cats are safely out of Disney name range.

Our 7-year-old black lab is named Disney because we kept telling the kids we'd get a puppy after our Disney trip. Couldn't think of a name so Disney stuck. And our 3-year-old yellow lab is named Tinkerbell. At about 65 pounds, she doesn't exactly fit her name.

My friends have a cat they named after Gandalf's horse in Lord of the Rings. He's a tuxedo cat named Shadowfax.

My parents have chickens and have a white rooster named Donald. He was one of 6 chicks that were hand-raised in an aquarium in the kitchen after their bozo mother abandoned them on a below-freezing day, the day they hatched. Three of the babies were eaten by coyotes after everybody was returned to the barn, and the three that were left were 2 roosters, Mickey and Donald, and one hen, Peep.

And because I happen to have it handy, here's their little "family portrait." Unfortunately, Donald is the only one who's still with us; we're not 100% sure what happened to Mickey and Peep, but those @$%^$$%%*&#$# coyotes were probably to blame. Useless, evil creatures. God, I hate them.

I have a cat named Mater. Sometimes he's just not "all there". Even the vet agreed with the name choice.

We have a weimaraner named Violet of The Incredibles. She definitely is not like the character she is a wild woman.

We live in the country and are surrounded on three sides by thick woods. We have outside cats and strays are constantly coming up and joining the bunch. So, at times we will have many cats hanging around outside and my daughter has to name every stray that stops by for a meal or two. We have had a Simba, Nala, Kiara (not sure of the spelling but from Lion King II), Bagheera, and Siam (named for Si and Am from Lady and the Tramp).

My favorite though wasn't named for a Disney character but a Harry Potter one. She is a snow white cat and dd named her Hedwig (Harry's snow owl). This cat will climb up and sit on your shoulder and when you pet her she makes a small squeaking noise that sounds like a noise the owl makes in one of the movies! The name fits her so well.

Our dog is named Calypso after the character in POTC. I wanted a Disney name and DH didn't. So I found one that he didn't recognize and by the time he was told, it was too late to change it. It fits her anyway.
