Petition to replace Edy’s ice cream

No clue what you're talking about but I did send a very sternly worded e-mail to Wendy's Canada HQ last year suggesting they restore the vanilla frosty to the menu after it was inexplicably discontinued. I was through a Wendy's today and note with great joy the vanilla frosty is back!

Nope. Not eating either one looking at the ingredients. I don't need gums in my ice cream. Give me Haagen Daz or some local shop ice cream, then I'll sign the petition. (I'm lactose intolerant and still eat good ice cream on occasion . . . and I pay the price so I'm really picky.)

You should follow up with an email explaining how happy you are that it's back. They probably get much less of those types of emails and I bet you might make someone happy to not have to read yet another complaint.

I bought Turkey Hill once, aaaannnndddd I'd have to give that a big fat no. Did not care for it at all.

Sorry. On this one, I am out. I know, I know ... feel free to put me on ignore. :P

Tried it once. Wasn't bad but I wasn't sure why it would be considered so special.

I see no problem with serving a common brand of ice cream.

Are you talking about replacing the ice cream at a particular place in WDW/DL?

If so - I also vote for a local dairy vs. commercially available run of the mill ice cream!

If you AREN'T talking about at WDW or DL - well then where is it you want it replaced?

So what would they do? Maybe find some way to get supplied by the dairy at Penn State?

However, I'm not sure how much it would cost if going to something super premium like Salt & Straw or Humphry Slocombe.

Turkey Hill never bothered me as an "everyday" ice cream. Better than Edy's, Breyers, and some of the others, but yes it's still an average ice cream but not bad if a company has to serve mass quanitities of a cheaper ice cream. So, for a party or something, I'd always pick up Turkey Hill in fudge ripple, or triple chocolate, etc. But in our area, Tillamook ice cream hit the stores, about $1-$2 more a container and OMG, so much better. Lots more cream in it I guess. So I think whoever is making a switch should switch to Tillamook.

Of course not! I buy regular ice cream all the time, just didn’t care for Turkey Hill brand. We tend to buy Breyers and *gasp* Edy’s.

But of course when it’s on sale, I’m buying Graeters. 😊
