Loved Teresa's DIScounts segment. Can't believe Pete has never been to Busch Gardens! We actually did the SeaWorld/Busch Gardens ticket Teresa was talking about during out 2007 trip. The shuttle is GREAT! You buy the tickets online through the SeaWorld site and then schedule your Busch Gardens shuttle (they are the big Mears buses with Busch Gardens wrap on the outside). The have lots of pickups around Orlando - we choose SeaWorld parking lot for our pickup, but we would have been closer to go to Premium Outlets. Since we didn't have a car, we had to take a taxi both ways, so there was that added expense. However, the trip to and from Tampa was only an hour and we had about 6 full hours at Busch Gardens, which was plenty of time for us.

If you are disappointed in Animal Kindgom, you HAVE to try Busch Gardens!! Wonderful views of animals, super clean and friendly staff.

We are finally starting to consider a trip to Bush but I didn't know taking the shuttle would limit your time there. Makes sense I guess. I've only heard great things about the place so maybe next trip :).

Regarding Teresa's segment I've saved the podcast to listen to while on my way to work tonight, and am looking forward to it as always! :thumbsup2

Busch Gardens is definitely worth the trip. Maybe combine it with a night or two in Sanibel.

Since we didn't do the big rollar coasters, we had plenty of time. We also went during February, which was a very slow time. We walked through some of the areas twice, and did an extra experience they had where you can feed the giraffes. I'd highly recommend going!

LOVE the big coasters! Fun shows, very up-close and personal. Not so great on the animals...elephants were confined in a very SMALL enclosure, and theming was non-existent. But you got to see animals very up-close, with handlers to speak with. Worth the trip.

My sister and family are going to Siesta Key in May, they were thinking about going to Bush Gardens for a day, but tickets are $75 for one, but now I'm wondering...Anyone know if could they buy a 2 day ticket like the Sea World 2day ticket, that's buy a day get a day? I think they might reconsider if they could get two days for the price of one since they going for 10 days. OR could they get a shuttle to Sea World FROM Bush Gardens? They could do a day at Bush and a day at Sea World.
