I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so glad that you are doing well and it was so nice to hear from you about another stupid DCL policy.

Tee hee...I had this image in my head as Pete was getting all worked up that the rest of the podcast crew were crouching in a corner somewhere...lol

Most excellent ranting skills, Sir Werner! :thumbsup2

I too enjoyed the rant. Its been a while since he's been that worked up.

I only hope his concern was the 'cancellation without notification', and not the fact that DCL is actually looking for payment by the due date....

I think that was one of the best rants Pete has ever given, and he is 100% correct!!!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I think he needs to prerecord some rants before he leaves so we can have them while he is gone. That way we won't be in Pete rant withdrawl again.

Passion towards treating the customer fairly is always a good thing!

Pete,

Your rant was like a breath of fresh air. I absolutely LOVE honesty . . . even when it hurts (well, most of the time). And I think that it is really great that you are comfortable as a Disney fan to "call them on the carpet" when appropriate. We all know they are listening, so hopefully, in some way they get the message that their greed is glaringly obvious in policies like this . . . not so good for their public relations.

That was my thought too... Of course they should expect payment to be made by the due date, and there should be consequences if it goes past due, but to do it without notification is not right.

If that makes people boycott DCL, more room for me!

All that being said... It was nice to hear Pete on his soapbox again! :thumbsup2

ITA!! This is just another in a long line of policies on Disney's part where their greed has become glaringly obvious. Strollers, buffet increases, ticket price increases in the face of an oncoming recession. etc. etc. :sad2: If you want to look back a little further, the changes in the DDP and the "kids meals" should have been a big indicator of what was to come from Disney. Those horrible little meals they foisted upon us in the name of "healthy eating". PULEEZEE
