Is it worth giving up using a Fastpass + to see this themed area? I understand you don't see it if you Fastpass plus Peter Pan> We have done the ride before but not since they added this. Thanks, beachfan.

We intentionally passed on reserving a PP FP+ and instead went straight there at rope drop. The new queue is beautifully done! We walked through it, and I'm glad we did, but we were also the very first people that morning on the ride, so I'm not sure my assessment of if it's worth it is fair to you. We had breakfast at BOG, rode 7DMT and then walked straight over to PP, went through the new queue and hopped on. I'd say stand in line and use your FP for something else if you plan to get there at rope drop or very early or very late in the day. Otherwise, you may find yourself standing in that line for a long time.

Thanks -We will head for it first thing at rope drop and save our fast passes for something else. beachfan

The interactive queue, imho, is as good as the ride now...in very different ways. Some interactive queues are just 'meh' for me, but this was truly worth standing in line for.

We also went straight there after rope drop and got to go through the interactive queue. It's neat, but definitely not worth going through if there's a wait above 30 minutes... which is always for some reason.

Go first thing or late during EMH. I wouldn't wait a crazy amount of time, but I'd rather wait 30 minutes in that line than Splash, Space, Thunder etc.

They outdid themselves on this one. We totally took our time and kept letting people go past us. It is an attraction within an attraction. Minor attraction but still cool.

For my last trip, I did PP at rope drop so that I could see the new queue. It was very well done, I thought. Since it is not a long ride, it adds to the story and I thought it really added to the experience. It was very cute.

We had a FP+ for later in the day but did the new queue at about 9:30 when we got done with breakfast at CP. It was worth the 20 minute wait! We are going to do the same thing this year.

the new queue is worth doing if you head to PP right at RD when there's little to no line.

if that does not fit into your ultimate plan then i'd skip the que and get FP+.

Do PP at RD! I wouldn't use a FP on it, so many others things to use one on. If you go at RD you should be fine, as the lines do get busy later in the day.:thumbsup2
But it is worth it to see the area. they did such a great job, you feel like you are in the movie!:goodvibes

We did exactly what 100acrehiker did, and really enjoyed the queue. We only had to wait about 15 minutes, so it was totally worth it.

I agree that it's worth seeing. We waited until about 15 minutes past rope drop and headed to Peter Pan. We waited about 30 minutes but it was nice to see the new features.

Back in December,DH and I couldn't get FP's for PP,my favorite ride. So we decided to just get in line and take our chances. Due to the way they time the intervals with the FP line, the stand by line moved extremely slowly. We had absolutely no idea there was an interactive area in the middle of the queue. By the time we got there,it was a welcome distraction and I even took videos of it all. Most of the fun was watching the very young children respond to it all. It took us 45 minutes to get to the ride, which then actually shut down half way through for about 3 minutes. It's the one ride you can't climb out of! The interactive queue is magic for the little ones, pure Disney Magic.

I think it is worth it. When the majority of folks are streaking towards teh Mine Train, we are heading to PP.

We were at MK recently and did not realize PP had the new line. We went there after doing Rope drop and riding 7DMT in one of the first groups, then right over to Winnie the Pooh then PP, so we were still well before 10 AM when we arrived (9AM opening)

We looked at the line at PP and the posted wait time of 45 minutes and thought it had to be a mistake as we couldn't see a long line and it was still early. LOL! Well, it was every bit of 45 minutes and I found it terribly claustrophobic going from room to room, the seemingly endless amount of rooms are small with no windows. Never again, we will do FP+ or will believe the posted wait time and do it only if short wait!

The new line queue is pretty good, but I wouldn't wait more than 30 min just for it

We kept our FP+ for the ride on our first day there, then on our third day we ended up visiting MK after AK and decided to wait the 30 min wait to get to see the queue and escape the heat.
