sorry for asking so many questions about drops and heights on rides :flower3:

Are there any heights/lifts/drops or anything of the sort on Peter Pan's Flight? Thanks

No lifts/drops or anything of the sort on Peter Pan.

But the entire time, you are sitting in a "flying ship" that is suspended between
6-12 feet off the attraction floor.

By the use of "Disney Magic," it APPEARS that you are flying hundreds of feet over London and Neverland. But as Robo said, you are never more than a few feet from the ground. It's a slow, gentle, tame, relaxing ride that retells the story of the movie.

When my wife, who HATES heights and drops, rode it for the first time, she almost smacked me for not telling her that you fly. I thought that the name of the ride - "Peter Pan's FLIGHT" - should have clued her in, but I guess not. :rotfl2:

Now that she knows what to expect, it's her favorite ride.

It was the first ride I went on in Disney last week. It's my favourite now

This is what you'll see when you're flying over London on Peter Pan's Flight

Todd, that is one beautiful picture. How did you get it?

Brita, glad you enjoyed the ride.

Thanks! I got this shot with a Canon 5dmkII camera, a 50mm f/1.8 lens using manual focus, and a prayer.

Of all the dark rides in The Magic Kingdom, I would say that Peter Pan is the most difficult to get any decent pictures.

Until Soarin' opened, this was my hands down, absolute favorite ride. I had always wanted to feel what it would like to hang glide and I thought Peter Pan's flight would be the closest I would ever get.....
