Peter Pan's Flight for adults?

Where is the Observation Deck? I love the ride, but I tend to get a bit claustrophobic.

If you just let a CM at the Nemo entrance know why you cannot ride in the submarine, they will arrange for you to experience Finding Nemo in the Marine Observation Outpost. My DH and MIL did so last year. If there is currently a group in there and a show in progress, you will have to wait until they are out for the next show. HTH

Yes, it's a small room (but not as confined as the subs for the claustrophobic) that is located behind and beyond the queue area. Since very few people use it and it actually has room for a fair number of people, there's not generally a long wait if there's any wait at all. You see the whole movie and story that people on the sub see on a monitor, except of course there's no movement. It is air conditioned and makes a great option on a hot day if you're looking to get out of the heat for awhile. Overall, I still prefer to ride the actual sub, but if the kids are clamoring for some Nemo and the line is long, we'll do the alternative experience, and they're satisfied.

As for Peter Pan, we totally love it in our family. We're locals, so we don't do it every time because of the line, but if you're coming for a one-time visit, I think it is definitely a must do. It is the most charming ride of fantasyland for me. I also like the storybook canal boats in fantasyland, although that's not open on magic morning. It may be worth pointing out that quite a bit of the magic morning crowd heads straight for Peter Pan (used to be almost all until Star Tours II opened), and you really need to be at the front for rope drop with a rapid walking pace if you don't want to eat up most of your magic morning riding Peter Pan. If it's a late Magic morning (like right now on weekdays magic morning is 9am), you should probably line up at the gate at 8:15- 8:30.

I love everything about Fantasyland! Peter Pan is my FAVORITE ride! I was in awe the first time I rode it. I loved the movie as a child (well and now) but as a 30 year old adult riding it for the first time it did NOT disappoint. It was like they brought out all of my favorite parts out of the movie and put it in the ride! I love all of the dark rides because of all of the details and the experience! I can not think of anything in DL that is a kiddy ride!! :lmao: You'll love it!:goodvibes

I say do all the Kiddie rides, I love Casey Jr train, Storybook Boat, Mr Toad, etc... Not too crazy about Nemo but I think everyone should try it at least once unless you have closterphobia issues.

Have fun and be a Big Kid!

Okay, now THAT'S a story I don't remember reading. Did Dumbo go down and the phone went up?

More like..dumbo went down and stomach went up. LOL I don't get nauseous on much, but uh..that did it. Don't worry, I didn't leave my mark. Just got a huge headache and tummyache for a bit. LOL:rotfl:

Peter Pan is my favorite ride in Fantasyland. I try to do it every trip but its "my" priority, not DD and DH's so it doesn't always work out.
Nemo is not a must for me but for DD and DH it is so we do end up making that our first ride one day each trip.

IMO Nemo is neat to do once, Peter Pan is magical and should be done whenever possible!
