Peter Pan's Flight Closed In October :-(

Just looked on the Magic Kingdom website and Peter Pan's Flight will be closed from September 28th until October 31st 2013 for refurbishment.

This means it will be closed when we are there

Never mind - there is going to be so many other magical things for my boys to see and do I guess they won't miss what they don't know

The WDW website says "no times available" for Peter Pan's Flight until Nov. 14. On that day it shows the park hours as the time the ride will be operating.
Does this mean the DIS dates for refurbishment are correct and that it will be closed until Nov. 13 instead of Oct. 31 like other websites say? I've been waiting 5 years to ride Peter Pan's Flight, one of my sentimental favs, and can't afford to go back to WDW for another 5 or more after this year.

Disney refurbs are very hit and miss, but our general experience is that relatively minor refurbs are usually up and running on time, or sooner.

Last year BTMRR had a similar closure, although it was a little longer. For the majority of the closure, it looked like it wouldn't open on time - but amazingly, they still managed it.

I believe TT has historically over run, though.

The other point is that you will probably get more accurate closure times from here rather than WDW direct!

And sorry if you don't already know but the Railroad round the Magic Kingdom is scheduled to be closed for refurbishment from September 30 through to October 20 2013, reopening on October 21 2013.

I've never understood the long lines for this attraction anyway - I wouldn't worry about it

We're there from 12th Oct to 2nd Nov. Hopefully it will be open as my DS (5) LOVES Peter Pan and he'll be so upset.
