Peter Pan with new MK rope drop procedure

Hi everyone,
We leave for Disney this week and are getting so excited!!! I had seen some early reports that it is best to go straight through the castle still with the new MK rope drop procedure to rope drop Peter Pan, but I have also seen that sometimes this entrance opening can be delayed after the Welcome Show?
Any recent thoughts or experiences?

Yes, I read even with the delay, through the castle is best.

Three Routes to Peter Pan.

If the "through the castle route" (green) is closed, choose whichever of the others you prefer.

"West of the castle" path (blue) may be a bit shorter than the Liberty Square (orange) route,

but how the CMs open the ropes may affect which way you can go the earliest.

I haven't been yet, but the PP queue is supposed to be amazing. If you are one of the first ones there, you will walk through it too fast to enjoy it. If you get there a few minutes "late" you will get to experience more of it.

No right answer here, which ever you prefer.

Personally, I'd wait the 1-2 minutes and walk through the castle. Much more magical way of getting to Fantasyland, I think.

If you have a stroller I suggest the orange path on Robo's map, the stroller parking is next to the Tangled restrooms

I would do the orange one the few times I have tried to go thought the castle it took a good 2 minutes for us to get in after the others went, and like the PP said the line is amazing and this is coming from some one that waited for 20 minutes and I do not wait at Disney for anything over 10 due to my disability
