Peter Pan Ride Sneak Around (by Wishing Well) is a No Go

While we were in line coming through the castle at opening on Monday morning to enter the Peter Pan ride, CM's were stopping people who were using the shortcut via the wishing well side (looking at the castle from Main Street the right side) to enter the line. They made them go all the way back out and enter the line through the castle main entrance. The woman was really upset (but really the line was already formed and she would be cutting). Just wanted to make sure people knew this shortcut is a no-go so you don't waste your time!

I have never heard of this. How can walking a different route around the castle count as cutting in line? Was the line backed all the way up to the castle? If so, how would you cut into it?

When I was there, the line through the castle was lazily forming at the end of the peter pan queue while people coming from the well way seemed to just cut in line directly in front of them. I was surprised people weren't complaining or being more assertive about the line.

I think this is a problem when the line extends way beyond the formal que. People coming through the castle believe they are at the end of the line, even though the line isn't marked off. I can see how people going around the castle might not realize that the "line" extends through the castle.

You know on my trip last month I decided to abandon my previous practice of going straight to PP in the morning. Too many people do it now. Unless you are very close to the gates at opening you wind up having to wait even after hustling your behind down Main Street. Instead I tried a ride on PP in the afternoon. Heresy! But it worked out fine. The wait time posted was 40 minutes and it wound up being an actual 30 min wait which wasn't bad and I missed the morning scrum of jostling for position to get to PP.

I want to try the 5 minutes before MM ends. I think there might be a lull there as people move off to go to other lands that are opening.

All the folks for MM do not arrive at the same time, it is a continuous flow of folks arriving with MM privileges. so there is no lull in the PP line and in my observations of Adventureland and Frontierland gates, they do not get crushed by folks from MM. tomorrowland on the other hand is opening up FP and folks are using the advantage to prepare for the time wise us of FP machines, folks are already in the space area, so they tend to hang around.
