I noticed on the Disney calendar today that Peter Pan's Flight will be closed for refurb on Monday, May 4th. Does anyone know how long it takes this ride to get refurbished? I'm going to DLR in May for the first time and was so hoping to ride this ride.

I would be very surprised if it's down very long - unless there is an unscheduled rehab because they find something seriously wrong with an attraction, Disneyland is very good about having ALL of their attractions up and running from Memorial Day through Labor Day. I wouldn't be surprised if once the schedule finally gets up through May 8, that we'll see that Peter Pan is down Monday-Thursday, and reopens on Friday (or Saturday).

i hope it's not too long either. we are there the night of 5/3 to 5/8. i guess if i see peter pan being closed for the duration of our trip, i better make sure we get on it sunday night, 5/3!!!!!!!!!!!

i know that's what i was thinking, too! they have it on the refurb list for 5/4. but the schedule is not yet up for 5/5, 5/6, etc...so we don't know how long the PP refurb is really going to take....thought I'm guessing within the next week, we'll know if our trips will be affected!

just checked the calendar...PP is listed for refurb on tuesday, 5/5, too. i'm almost thinking it's going to be at least a week refurb....which means it'll be down practically the entire time we're there :(

if that's the case, i need to make it a point to get on the ride sunday night, 5/3, no matter how long the wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a different note: What rides do you think will be effected now b/c all the HUNDREDS who wait in the PP line will now be doing other rides...

Well PPF's line doesn't usually have tons of people. What makes the line long is the EXTREMELY slow loading system. I'd say in a 45 min long line for Peter Pan, there aren't more than 500 people in line or so.

I'm getting a little scared. Peter Pan is still down on Mother's Day--May 10th. Any ideas on how long rides are usually down for refurbishment? Any number you can call to get a reopen date?

You know, I'm really surprised there is zero information published on this anywhere...

I mean... this is such a nostalgic ride for so many??? I sure hope it's not down the whole week... I so would like my boys to experience this one.

Which week are you going? As of right now it is still down on the 10th. I wonder why no one mentioned this one?

Well good luck to you! I hope it isn't down for your entire visit.

Sad news...

I just called to buy my tickets (the website would not work) and Peter Pan is scheduled to be down through June 7th!
:confused3

I am so sad.
