Peter Pan Q should be expanded.

I don't need it to be 1/1 with WDW because we don't have the space but every time I've gone the ride has a 30+ min wait and the Q is pressed out into Fantasyland. Why not enclose the Q and add some more theming to the most popular dark ride in the land? Even just adding the part where you see the pictures on the wall and the parents in the Window I think would be a big win for the ride overall. what are your thoughts? Would you like to see Pan Q expanded more and not just ropes?

Besides space reasons...

MK version offers LL which means longer Standby Lines. So I assume they built additional interactive elements to make the Standby wait easier.
DL version has no LL so even though Standby switchbacks can look rough, it constantly moves.
Also the outside portion of the queue lets you take in what is happening all around Fantasyland.

Keep in mind there are interactive elements in the DL Pan queue but you have use the Play App to see them.

You can expand out to the extended Q and taking out the trees gives you plenty of room. To add theming to the inside.

Yeah, no. I'm sure Imagineering doesn't want to break up the aesthetic of how the area looks. The WDW queue was out of necessity given all the rain. There's also a shop there they would rather not lose.

I do not think Imagineers could claim that.

Well those were thematic changes to the ride, not adding a queue. I'm saying Imagineering is fine with how the queue looks. They may not like that it takes up as much space but that's the limitations of the land and I doubt they want to sacrifice any existing space just to add an element from WDW where they started with more room.

Huge YES to this! From the queue you can sometimes sees characters walk by.

My understanding is that there is no space for them to expand the queue building safely.

They probably have a minimum clearance for fire reasons, as well as considerable egress. A roped off queue could be removed in an emergency whereas a building couldn’t be.

As much as I'd love to see a better line arrangement, I just don't see that as a feasible thing to do given the location, image, and code strictures. If they did manage it, as others have already said, it might be a benefit here but an overall detriment to everything else, so that could explain why it remains a bit messy. I'd rather have a bit messy than an downgrade to FL.

I kind of like it as is. I actually think everyone crammed together makes it less attractive to cut the line, since you pretty much have to bump uglies with everyone in line to get by.
