The girls wanted to ride the train over to Frontier Land and walk to LTT. So went and got in line for the train. It was close to 2:10 by this point and we had just missed the train, after talking to the CM at the train boarding area, we decided it would be faster to just walk to LTT from there than to wait for the next train.
And thus wound up walking almost three times the distance!
Oh, well. It's not like you walk much at Disney.
BTW, I had the pot roast, which was amazing! I highly recommend!
Oh, good! I saw that on the lunch menu and wondered if any of you had tried it.
Since the girls didn't get to ride the train earlier, we headed off to Frontier Land to the train station and wait for the next one. Seriously...after walking up the steps, waiting in the heat for the next train, I was ready for another break!
Or... walk to Main St. Same distance.
I know. I know. You have to ride the train.
Something that I don't even remember if I've ever done it!
I gave in and purchased 2 of the misting fans (even though the kids had fans already).
Because a mom knows that if you have two kids with two misting fans, the rules state that soon you will have two kids and only
one misting fan.
Beans and LoLo got lanyards and pins to start pin trading.
And so it begins...
We waited in line for 15 minutes just to be told that the ride was down and they were having everyone exit.
Rats.
There goes the Buzz competition pictures!
On our way out they gave us all a paper FP
I noticed later you mentioned them in conjunction with POC.
So these passes were good for any ride in the park?
Beans wanted to get on the People Mover...which happened to be down...
Really? I don't think I've ever heard of it being down!
After all of that we decided to start on the Sorcerers of the MK game. So we found a spot to sit down and dig out the map to see where we had to go first. Back to Fantasy Land!
It's almost like they're doing it on purpose!
By the time we had run around Fantasy Land and defeated out first villain it was just about time for our dinner ADR, so we headed back towards Main St.
And how was the game? Did you and/or the girls like it?
More of a kid's game? Or fun for all ages?
Then we headed to Tony's Town Square for our ADR. We waited about 15 minutes for our table and the girls got a kick out of the way they announced that your table was ready.
What did they do?
They didn't do anything for me except say my table was ready.
Even still, the food was really good
What did you guys have?
Yup. I see what you mean.
While we waited I started getting out the glow bracelets I had brought for the girls and they decided they would share them with the kids around us. Any little kid who sat by our walked past us got offered one. I love my kiddos!
That's really nice of them.
So, feel privileged...it's a rare photo of me sitting on the ground! LOL
And you do it with such elan!
Anyway...the reason I posted this photo. The woman next to me was so sweet. We talked for a good 1/2 hour waiting for the parade to begin. It was so nice to meet new people through out our trip. I loved having conversations with them and finding out where they were from, how much they loved Disney, hearing about their visit, etc. We spent a lot of our time just talking to people.
I seldom have conversations with strangers. I'm usually moving and not sitting still.
But when I do... Disney meets are great. Everyone is (usually) in such a good mood!
The parade began and the girls tried wearing their Mickey Vision glasses but said they hurt their eyes after a few minutes
I can see why!
so Nick tried taking a few photos with them. They came out alright...this was the best one...
Interesting effect, but might not be the best way to make memories!
LoLo was a little nervous but I assured her that she would be fine and that it was dark and loud but no big drops or anything. Well, I forgot about the one completely dark drop...she screamed, and then was mad at me. Oopsy...
Whoops!

At least it wasn't RNRC or something.
"Oh, no. It's just like IASW."
Now, if you couldn't tell, she was Disney Bounding as Capt. Jack Sparrow that day...so the hat and sword were a must for her.
No. I'm dense when it comes to Disney Bounding.
Completely hopeless.
We HAD to get a picture of the complete look and found the perfect spot to do so!
And a very nice pic it is! I can see how the hat and sword are required to complete the ensemble.
Next up...Park day 2 and our favorite breakfast ADR!
Can't wait!
