Peter Pan character sitings?

Is Peter Pan one of the characters that walks around the parks or is in some special engagement? He is my son's favorite and I would love it if we could get a chance to meet him. We will be in WDW early October 2005. Thanks for any suggestions.

We have seen Peter Pan, Wendy, Captain Hook & Smee many times near Pirates of the Carribean in MK.

I have seen the Peter Pan gang by Pirates as well! I have also seen Smee and Hook outside Journey into Imagination at Epcot.

Just FYI: Real Peter fans will love the Family Magic Tour at MK. Peter has stolen Captain Hook's best hook and Hook is threatening the park if it isn't returned. The group goes on a scanvenger hunt following clues left my Peter. At the end you get to meet him and Wendy and go sit with him on the front row of Philharmagic and "crow" when you see Tinkerbell. Great fun!

My sons (5 and 4) also love Peter Pan. We were excited that Peter Pan, Wendy, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee were doing Character Greetings when we were in MK last week. They were across from Pirates on a covered porch area. The boys didn't want to see Captain Hook (a villian, too scared of him) but Peter Pan and Wendy interacted with the boys and talked to them. It was also fun to seen Peter Pan "lock up" Captain Hook and Mr. Smee in between large barrels during the character greetings.
We also loved Peter Pan's flight ride (awesome!) and we saw Peter Pan & Wendy in the parades.

They always seem to be over by the POTC ride. Last time we were shopping in the gift shop, we heard Peter Pan do his "crow". I didn't know what it was at first and it kinda scared me!

I agree with this. This tour is great fun. Both DD4 and DS11 loved it. Ds even asked if we could do it again on our next trip.
