Nope my husband has called me 4 times and text messaged a couple as well...Never a hi or hello-just "Status Check?" or "Disney Update?" I love him!

So, today might not have been the day to NOT go to work. I spoke with our WC yesterday via email and she said I should hear something tomorrow at the latest...I woke up today and DHs words were to call at 9:01...just to make sure she didn't forget. So, I waited until 9:30...no answer. After 2 more calls from DH I called again about noon...and finally left a message. No call back...How long does this take? The suspense is killing me!!!

Thank you for the kind words...I am still waiting to hear from Disney...my WC said that I would probably hear today-but sheesh! I wanted to hear something yesterday! A watched phone never rings I guess. I will be at work today...so unfortunately, if they call I will only get the message via cell phone *pout* Hopefully I will hear before lunch and can sneak outside to make a phone call during.

DH has been so sweet. At 4AM today he was asking if I had heard anything yet! Last night he told me that this is all about me and that I should get what I want...So, being persistant is ok.The wait is difficult...but that is ok...good things come to those who wait right?

Thank you! I am a very bad Jewish girl, I forgot to make my matzah ball soup, buy matzah, and remember not to eat anything that isn't Kosher foe Passover(oops). That's what I get for being far away from my family to keep me in line and really the only one in my household who observes it. I am sorry yours was a flop. How sweetof your DH to at leas sit through a Sedar. I can't even get mine to yet(he thought a Roh Hashana Dinner with my family was bad enough). I'm so sorry to hear the waiting has been unbearable for you. I'd be getting antsy too. At least your DH is being sweet about it. I hope you get your call soon. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you for good luck.

I hope you hear some news soon. I remember how nerve-wrecking the wait is. You know, I'm not sure they even called me. I think I got an email saying we got the WP for the time we wanted. It was even worse for the reception, I don't think they even told me I got them, I just saw it on the contract and was like, oh okay that's good.

But I guess no news might be good news, since if you definitely didn't get it, I think they would have contacted you to find out a back-up plan.

I'm still waiting for my LOA...but we are only a week into the wait...which is fine...I guess.

Working on the whole veil thing. We decided to order one...but I'm waiting to show my mom the pictures and check out the beading on my dress...I found one on Ebay ($20) and a couple on other websites (Ranging from $35-76) Anyone of the 3 has a better price than what the bridal shop gave me.

I've decided to use KTTW cards as my seating cards (I got a handful of them at the POP when we were there in 2009) and the Mickey luggage tags for favors. I think I've decided that if you want the stinking mouse ear hats then buy them yourself! Of course this is all subject to change b/c I really want the Mickey Ears Photo...Sigh...

Any thoughts on a pre-reception menu? I need food ideas

I'm still waiting for my LOA...Tomorrow will mark the 2 week mark...how long does this take..

I've also been thinking...The petal toss will be kind of anti-climatic b/c we're getting married at 5PM...SO...my thought is (maybe-should it work in the budget) that I go with petal cannons for our "You may kiss the bride" part...and sparklers for our exit...

Any thoughts?

I like the confetti cannons, they're cool. But the petal toss is for a staged exit, not the real exit, so IMO it's not even part of the climax of the day...

So, l got an email from my wedding planner...she said that my LOA should be here early next week...ok...Then, last night I got a call from Nelio...Saying that they don't have my contract! I KNOW I faxed it over a couple of days after I got it b/c I did it at my mom's office and it was a big deal...Oh well...I printed off a copy...this time I'm going to snail mail it with a green return to me to let me know you got it sticker...I mean seriously...we are paid in full...but still. He seemed to know when all the payments have been made...who knows-like I said...snail mail.

So, today-mom and I are going MOB shopping. We need to get a move on b/c my MIL needs to find what she is going to wear. My mom hates clothes shopping...so I hope this goes well...we are also going to look at a veil I found online...I'll probably purchase that one (pics to come) I'm debating on a ivory "fur" bolero I found on ebay for like $30-just in case it gets cold in the evening or something...I hate being cold! So, it might be worth the investment.

No problems with the LOA...it was the photo contract that we had issues with. When I re-read my last post it was a little confusing...Sorry...
