I wouldn't know..if I get Ben and Jerry's at all, it's usually the Doonesberry flavored sorbet. I'm allergic to milk products.

Honestly, how can anyone that is involved with this group think that they are going to be taken seriously when then do stuff like this? They are so over the top that they have zero credibility. I think they are a detriment to the other agencies that are committed to helping animals.

I was reading the letter PETA sent to Ben&Jerry's and had to laugh.

Do they REALLY think that cow's milk is a bigger contributor to diabetes and obesity than high fructose corn syrup, transfats, high amounts of salt and chemical preseratives and plain old overeating?

Good thing I'm allergic to milk and milk products. Don't want to die before my time drinking miilk and eating cheese and ice cream yanno.




*note--I am by no means perfect. I ate a grand total of 4 meals out in the last week. I don't buy organic and I'm not a vegetarian. I'm going to hell anyway..might as well make the ride fun, right? WHOOHOO! Who's got the cheeseburgers and beer?

OMG!!***???

I was raised on a cattle farm...obviously, this chick has NEVER been in a milking parlor. She has no concept of how one is run, the amount of cleaning that is done, or the fact that veal buyers will buy off any cattle farmer (not just dairy farms), and that the calves are in fact not usually penned up...grazing in the fields helps the taste of the meat.

When I was a kid we used to show dairybeef cattle (holsteins that have been "snipped" so they can't produce milk). PETA showed up to boycott the cattle show because it was inhumane to parade the cattle, we had had them "snipped", and because we used clear nailpolish on their hooves to make them shine. The super funny parts were that a couple of the protesters were wearing....LEATHER. I also found it funny that they were opposed to us painting the hooves and not as to what the nailpolish was made of.

OH...EVEN MORE DISGUSTING THOUGHT...they think all dairy products should be made from human breast milk...even cottage cheese?? Mommies and Daddies you know what I am alluding to that stuff already looking like.

My vote for Ice Cream name: Toffee Ta Ta

That's how I feel about them too. They give a bad name to the animal rights cause in general. I wish they would just go away and I really wish celebrities would stop supporting them.
