The reason I usually add DC is to keep the PO a little more accountable, and hope they pay more attention to what they're doing. Although, DC just means that it's been delivered somewhere. It doesn't confirm the person you address it to actually receives it.

I added DC just because I always worry about it getting lost along the way. Of course, the DC just makes me obsessively track it and worry about if it's going to get there!

I was planning to mail Saturday but didn't make it to the P.O. and then didn't want to mail until I heard from you to make sure everything was OK. I didn't bring my package with me today ('cause I just got the update) and I won't be home until 9:30 pm tonight so I will mail tomorrow!

I sent my swap in a box, Kat, that I don't think would fit in a regular mailbox, but maybe your situation is different. The DC did say it was delivered, though.
