Pet Stocking Exchange Sent/Received

Yay! Suzy's stocking came yesterday from SoccerPrincess. We unfortunately didn't realize it until this morning because the mail man rubber banded the box to the mailbox post under a holly bush and it was dark when we got home. What's with that? Usually when we have a box they put it on the doorstep under the eaves. That's the Richmond post office for ya....

Thank you so much Soccer Princess! Suzy (and much to her dismay, Reilly, Tinker and Hailey) were so excited about her stocking!

She got a red plush squeaky Reindeer (which Reilly automatically called his and we had to get it back for her..lol)

She also got a big bag of Beggin' Strips

A package of Dentabones

and then our dogs ultimate favorite treat.. Pupcorn!

I'm glad Suzy's package was found. Now, here's the real kicker. I was reading Obi-Wan's post and thought hmm what about the other stuff I put in there? I get in my car this morning and what do I find? A bag with the last couple things I picked up for the stocking, but obviously forgot to include!

I will try to get to the post office by Friday to send the rest of Suzy's present. Sorry about this! Maybe I can go pick up a few extras to make it up to her!

I sent a stocking to Florida last week. I was wondering if it had arrived yet?

DD called and Sweetie got mail!! She will be one happy kitty (she does her playing at night when she can run around all by herself).

She received from Spencer.....Michelle might want to help fill in, it was a fast phone call
In her stocking she received:
2 Whisker Lickins treats
fuzzy mouse with catnip
metallic crunchy balls
plastic balls with bells inside
snuggle bug (please explain this....she only said it was Spencer's sister's favorite).
I will see them tomorrow.

She sends kitty hugs to Spencer and Michelle.

Here's what my bunny Marilyn got:

Cranberries and Goldens fruits (she loves these!
Duck rattle/toy (see picture) It was so funny, she picked it up, and threw it. (that means she likes it!)
Bunny puppet (see pic) She attacked this. When I put it on my hand.
Pawprint stocking (now hanging on her cage)
Tropical Trail mix (Marilyn LOVES this stuff!!!!)
Green metal wire ball with a mouse in side. - she loved this, kept pushing it around and picking it up and throwing it.
two pinecones - I *think* i read somewhere that rabbits can eat pinecones? Im not sure, so im gonna find out, if theyre for her, thanks! lol. otherwise, theyre still nice decorations.. lol
Green Slinky, that Marilyn tried to pick up, but when it swung around, it hit her in the head, and she was scared. lol. It was funny though.
two GIANT peppermint sticks. (shes gonna go nuts.)
6 candy canes. Shes alreayd eaten 2. im a bad mommy.
And a nice christmas towel with holly and berries.

What a nice exchange. Marilyn and I really loved everything! Thanks so much Kristie and Portia!

Topaz received her stocking yesterday. She is already playing with the contents, which I will post as soon as I get home and on my own computer. The list is at home (the real reason) and I stopped by the office on my day off.
