PET PEEVES.....clueless people

Oh my favorite is when two people meet, each coming from a different direction and stop side by side, therefore making it IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to pass. Then they chat forever! What are they thinking?!

how many times do you see people blocking the entrance or exit to a place while they are stopped in traffic- like the whole world revolves around them....hello people need to enter and exit there- please dont stop right in front of it!

or someone is actully attempting to pull in our out of that driveway or side street and people will not for the life of them let them in traffic-- WHY?
----i can see them thinking-- HA! HA! not gettin in front of me sucka!

The first one solves the second one. :teeth: There is a pharmacy where I live, and it's so difficult to get out of the parking lot because of where it's located next to a busy intersection. Traffic just doesn't give you a break at all. So I've discovered that if I sit smack dab in the middle of the exit, then if someone wants to pull in, they have to stop and let me out first. :thumbsup2

Sorry if it annoys them to wait 10 seconds for me to pull out, but I've had to sit in that exit for up to 10 minutes waiting in the past. Doing that cuts my time down to less than a minute.

They're thinking, "It's so wonderful that the whole world revolves around ME ME ME!"

My pet peeve about grocery shopping (or any shopping really) are the people who don't even get their wallets/checkbooks out until the clerk gives them a total.

.

I cringe when the person in front of me even pulls out a checkbook...then then proceed to have to write the check, they haven't even put in the name of the darn store on the check while they were waiting to be rang up...it takes so darn long when they pay by check...then the others that leave their carts anywhere they want in the parking lot thinking they are the only ones in the world that shop and no one else needs to pull in that parking space they just left their darn cart in!!

My big gripe at the grocery is people that get right up on your at the check out lane. I'm punching in my PIN and the next person has pulled their cart up and walks all the way up right beside me....hello BACK OFF!

Can they not stand back with their cart until my transaction is finished and then they can walk up to the payment area. Personal space is a big thing for me.

heyyyy- thats a good one-- i will have to turn the tables and have the person TRYING to get into the parking lot look at ME and say "what a jerk- she is hogging the entrance- how does she expect me to get in??"

HA! genus :scratchin i LOVE it!

i walk right up to her and very nicely say "ummm, yes, excuse me? ahhhh driving 101......- the person making the right HAS THE RIGHT OF WAY" and i just walked away from her -- ewww and she said pretty loudly "you b***h" ewww i just kept walking and put my hand up like- hey whatever lady! smiled and went on about my business being invisible in the grocery store!

Well, you are my new hero. I wish I had the guts to do that.

my disbelief in people's lack of common sense has been building for years! this was the only way i could let some out before I EXPLODED!?

my husbands tells me he does not know why i would say anything to anybody about something "stupid" they did becasue they dont really care thats why they are doing it-- i said well i just need to enlighten them about their "little problem" and maybe nextime they will think TWICE before they start acting "stupid" OR being rude again!

my little way of giving back to the world. (and keeping myself sane in the process!...or else like i said-- MY HEAD WOULD EXPLODE! :headache: )

Well, I guess I have a bit of a different opinion on these things. I subscribe to the philosphy of "Don't sweat the small stuff, and it's all small stuff!" I think people need to lighten up. Just because someone stops in the middle of the isle doesn't mean they are clueless, or rude, or self-centered. Preoccupied, maybe!

One never knows what is going on in someone else's life that may cause them to be preoccupied with things. I know, I've been there. LOL, I didn't know that I was such a PITA when I blocked the grocery isle!

preoccupied in the aisles also spills out into traffic!!! thats why so many people cause auto accidents-- its because people ARENT PAYING ATTENTION!

thats what really gets me--- when i am somewhere or doing something i am always aware of my surroundings-- and alot of people need to take responsibility for their PREOCCUPIED-NESS!

sure try riding your motorcycle while someone is PREOCCUPIED with something OTHER than what they are SUPPOSED to be PAYING ATTENTION TO! its not fun to have to swerve out of the way of someone DAYDREAMING!

let those people be PREOCCUPIED while they are at home taking care of their families- not out in public where i have to deal with them! :thumbsup2

When me and DH and the kids go down to Florida when my parents aren't there, we use the Roadmaster and I can't tell you how much fun I have with it - (messing with people that is), you see I go real slow on A1A, then some punk *** tries to pass me and I just let loose and wave to them as I look at them in the oncoming lane. Its a blast! They probably think there is some 80 yo woman behind the wheel and surprise IT'S ME

Don't worry everyone, I make sure its safe!!

As far as your DH considering a big car - I've had both, and I prefer the Caddy, GM's for me, I was never a Ford person, but that's just my opinion

Dangerous!!!
