Here at work.... this time I thought something was wrong right from the beginning.... but... who I am to say... so when he asked for my name I told him... then he goes can I ask you a question... well I hung up... he called back 2 times until our guy answered the phone and then he asked for me by name... creeeeepy. oe told him I wasn't around and could he take a message and the freak hung up. BLECH. this is the 4th time this has happened here... the freak must think he has good odds because he's calling a real estate company. SICKO.

The thing is we have an 800 # so they could be calling from virtually anywhere... people are sick.

I'm not sure if it's the same everywhere, but we can hit *57 to have a call traced and reported to the phone company, for law enforcement, as a harassing call.

Of course, I don't think this works if your company uses a DiD trunk for its phone system, but it's certainly worth looking into. It they have your number, they can definitely find out where you are. Better to be safe than sorry.

Furthermore, I think that our voice communications manager can find out, even though we currently have DiD trunks, who is calling in and where we are calling out. May be worth investingating this option, too.

I hate phone calls like that. Maybe if he calls again, tell him you have caller ID (even though it sounds like you don't). Maybe that'll get him to stop calling.
