Personalized Menus

I know that Coral Reef stopped the diver. However, do they or Narcoossee's still do the personalized menus? My in-laws are coming on this trip & I'd like one for them. The only problem is, it's not a birthday or anniversary. I'd just like a "I love Memaw & Papaw" menu or something similar.

I can't say for certain as I haven't been there, but I believe from reading info on these boards that Coral Reef does not do the personalized menus anymore. Not sure about Narcoosses's

We received personalized menu for our honeymoon on 03/26 at Narcoosee's. We didn't ask for them, they were just there when we got to the restaurant. Coral Reef didn't give us personalized menus but they did give us free champagne.

I think they started restricting the personalized menu stuff to recognizing celebrations (the current theme) in the signature restaurants. We got them tonight when we dined at AP for our Anniversary.

I want to do this for my in-laws 40th anniversary at Narcoossee's. Do I just tell the CM when I make our dining reservations? Do the menus look nice and make a nice keepsake? Thanks!

i got "unexpectedly" a personalized menu at Yahtmans for our anniversary.

i think if you note it on your ADRs or order a specialty cake that gives them the heads up about a celebration...i think its a hit or miss deal

Personalized Menus:

1) ANY sit-down eatery can do personalized menus.
2) They can be done for any purpose.
3) It is up to the restaurant if they want to do them.
. . . they might be too busy that day
. . . they might be too lazy that day
. . . they might not have the right person on duty that day
. . . they might have run out of the menu paper that day
. . . they might want to restrict them to birthdays or anniversaries, or whatever

I made an ADR for my family (I wasn't with them unfortunately ) for my dad's birthday at Narcossee's and the Dining Rep asked if there was anything that was being celebrated and I said it was my dad's birthday. That was it...and a personalized menu was waiting at the table for them.
