Personalized Disney maps?

Someone posted about getting free, personalized maps from Disney. Where can I find the link to do this? I think my kids would really get a kick out of that.

I got these 2 years ago and they are beautiful. That being said...I felt they were too nice to carry around at the parks.

they are huge. we just got ours last weekend. they are very nice. we got ours in about 2 weeks. i'll definitely take them w/us but may not use them.

Well, I am not a scrapbooker (is that a word?? ) , but, that sounds like a fabulous idea! You choose the attractions you would like to see at each park and your name appear son the map. Sorry, I cannot locate the maps I did last year. Try it! They are FREE! LOL!

Note for those wanting to use them as art or scrapbooking. You get one page that has the whole place. Then one page has one park on one side, another on the other side. Same for the third page.

You can order them every 6 months.

So by ordering them twice, you can end up with a stand-alone map of each park (and an extra of the whole place, LOL).

They aren't quite up to date right now...Kidani Village and Bay Lake aren't on the WDW map. Just in case anyone wants that map for those places.


And for those who have more than one last name inside your household, they use the last name of the shipping address name. We have 3 last names inside our house, so I changed my last name on that page to the hyphenated one, b/c that encompasses all of us. The first time I ordered I didn't think to do that, and it's weird to have it only welcoming my last name.

For our first trip, we each selected our two "must-dos" for each park and had those marked as "favorites". We brought the maps with us and looked at them in the room, but didn't take them into the parks.

I just made another set of maps for our upcoming trip. This time we marked 5 attractions in each park-- each of us picked our favorite from last trip.

All of the attractions are included, but the ones you select as favorites are listed first.

You can order them every 6 months, so you could do a before and after. There are two different styles also. I just received the characters ones. They're cute, but I prefer the classic ones.

Orginally, I was going to use them for scrapbook pages but they are so nice that i'm thinking about making a flap inside one of the scrapbook pages and putting them inside, kind of an envelope inside the scrapbook page

That is good to know; I was wondering exactly what the favorites were going to do or be on the map. I'll definitely have to get a set for us, and another at the 6 mo mark, so the boys each have one.

i agree....the ones you get in the mail are too nice to take in to the parks and get all crumpled in your bag. i'm saving mine for scrapbooking, for sure!

instead, i printed out maps on regular paper. at the wdw site you can do this, and select favorite attractions, etc, and you print it yourself. this is much better for taking in to the parks.

i printed an extra set for my dd (4)...she loves maps and can draw all over it to her hearts content.
