Congrats to everyone who will get a brick!

Alas, I was too slow more than likely. I read about the program, got the application, then had to wait a few days to have time to run to Kinkos to fax it in. So my fax didn't go out until Saturday. I hadn't been reading the thread, so I didn't know there were any troubles. Oh well, if we get lucky, hurray, if not, no loss and we'll try again if they ever reopen the program.

I really wish I had gotten a brick on our first trip in 2000!

has anyone else receive their cert. & map yet ? im still waiting for ours, i have one more day left before we leave, we leave wed. but turned our mail off on wed. we get our mail late in the day.

The only problem is, my app was faxed in on the 25th as well, and I haven't received anything in the mail. I'm hoping it's just because it wasn't mailed until the "official" decision was made when I got the email last week, but at this point, I'm not counting on anything.

did you get charged on your cc for the brick and did you get an email with your brick #, so now you are waiting on the cert. & map?

Yes I was charged the day after I faxed my app in (on the 26th) and I got an email with my brick number last week (Wed I think?) but I haven't received my cert or map yet, as of Saturday's mail.

We are going in August and I'm trying to keep this a secret for my DH. It's an anniversary trip. It hasn't sunk in yet that I actually got a brick!

I was pretty sure I would get something in the mail today, but nothing. I was hoping it would come today before DH gets home from a weekend trip. He usually gets home before me and may question why I'm getting something from Magic Kingdom.

i am on pins and needles..... i got a big yellow envelope today in the mail from disney.....cruiseline, gee you think i would be excited about that, nope then i ran out to pick something up for dinner, i come home there is a dhl truck in my driveway, could it be...... nope comcast digital box, they have been after me to up grade, they offered 12 months free up grade $1.99, well at least it was something even though it was a small savings. maybe tomorrow.....

Just an FYI that I received a phone call from someone in the Executive Offices this morning in response to the e-mail I sent a week ago regarding the pathstones. This e-mail was sent after I was told that I would not be getting a brick/stone, even though I was sent certificates, a location number and a map (as you know this changed a day later).

The executive confirmed that "anyone who has received a certificate does have a pathstone and that the certificate serves as a receipt."

So has anyone else received a call and/or their certificates yet?

I haven't received a call or my certificate, but lets not jump the gun here. We only got the email from Dean on the 6th, so it hasn't even been a week yet since it was confirmed we were getting bricks. Assuming they submitted our orders on the 6th to get our brick numbers, they might still have to send the info somewhere else to have the certificate printed and then have them sent out to all of us.

TheyCallMeTiggs how long did it take you to get your certificate the first time? I'm sure everyone who was charged and got a brick number will get a certificate, just have to give them a chance to get it mailed out.

I was not trying to make anyone here nervous--I am just wondering why no one else received a certificate the first time around (before all the confusion and the e-mail). I just think it's weird that I got one.

Yeah I can just see another 20 pages of everyone freaking out LOL...My guess is that they were taking orders, but only sending them out once or twice a week. You probably made the cutoff of the earlier sendout so you got your certificate. Then next round of sendouts they probably realized "Holy Cow! Why are there over 100 applications here?". Then all the controversy. Then we got our brick numbers emailed. So they probably didn't get the certificates started until after we got the emails. I'm not sure where or how they're printed so they might take a couple days, plus mailing time.

I agree. This thread has a way of making mountains out of molehills. Besides, just as the letter and certificate is a receipt of sale, so is the email and the charge on our credit cards equally valid. I'm thinking by the end of the week we should all start receiving our maps.

For those of you with guest services issues, I emailed them around May 31st to see if this was really part of Disney or a scam. They first sent me a form email, but today I got a call on my answering machine regarding my email. I just wanted to point out that those of you that emailed GS and left a phone number, you will probably still get a call.

I got an e-mail from the executive offices, which basically said I was lying. I REALLY feel like replying with a link to this thread to show I'm not nuts. I'm still in limbo, I snail mailed my forms back on the 30th and STILL no charge or return call/e-mail from Dean.

I got a response from guest services today. According to them, they aren't selling new pathstones. Go figure.

Unfortunately Jel0511, you won't be getting one.

The program closed on the 30th or the 25th, depending on who you talk to. Basically if you weren't charged by that date, you aren't getting one.
