When you received the info via mail...did the envelope say anything about being from Disney? This is supposed to be a surprise & would hate if DH got the mail & opened it!! Also, was it addressed to the names on the brick or just the info that I would have put the "contact info" on ???

The envelope had "Magic Kingdom" as the return address. My DH was off from work on Monday so was here to get the mail. I was nervous that he would ask about it, but he didn't. He just assumed it had something to do with my extensive trip planning.

I got my email this morning from dean,with my brick # WA0XXX and i emailed dean back to find the general area, his responce: in front of the magic kingdom close to the center, i cant wait to get the certificate & map, i hope its before we leave next wed. i just want to check it out and take a before pic and after pic when the brick is set in place , hopefully in time for our Oct. trip.

tell me about....... when i got the email with the brick #, i was debating on email dean back because i know he is so busy and i didnt expect a fast responce where it was generally located. then i though i would not be able to sleep at night trying to figure out were it was going to be placed, because i really wanted somewhere by the MK. not to wait for the cert. & map.

Thanks for this!! I can see exactly where my brick will be! If you compare the map I was sent with the aerial photo you can clearly see the spot!!!

It looks like EA5 is not a high traffic area as its "off the beaten path!"

Are you guys using some sort "secret" e-mail for Dean. I've e-mailed him twice, since I snail mailed mine in to see if they've been received. And NOTHING. I even left a message, I'm getting VERY frustrated.

Well that would certainly be cool! My brick placement is WA0910. Here's hoping that it goes in the circle on the map between W1 and E1!! Thanks for the heads up on this morning's email from Dean. I definitely would have trashed it if I didn't hear from the DISboards first!

To the poster who asked if anyone who worked with a CM other than Dean got notice, I did. I worked with Denise, faxed my application before noon on the 29th, and I received today's email from Dean.

What day did you send in your app? I'm a fellow WA0 newbie thinking the WA0 bricks are on the left half of the gray circle in-between W1 and E1, but I could be totally wrong. Maybe someone who has an existing brick in the MK area could offer a little help deciphering the map?

I asked Dean in e-mail, and it was a little cryptic (they do send verse terse responses) but basically they don't have any idea for a timeframe. He kind of indicated that that everyone thought they knew more than they were telling us - sounds like they are just the front end to the program, and someone else was calling the shots.

I'm hoping it will be ready for going in July so I can at least find it, and then surprise the kids in December.

Did no one else request something by the Poly? I've got P1A, and the map you guys have doesn't even show that. For all I know I'm in the Parking Lot...

Thank you! Hmmm...normally DH doesn't get the mail, so I should be safe! I was w/the MNSSHP tickets!! I'll keep my eyes out for it! Thanks for letting me know! I know, I'm so excited! And yeah, looks like if indeed our bricks are in that area, they're going to get plenty of wear and tear! $100 every so often is worth it though, as I'm sure you'd agree.
