First of all if this is in the wrong place I truly am sorry. I have searched high and low for those personal misting fans with the small water reservoir on the back instead of the "big" bottle with the fan on it and can't find them anywhere. I saw them today in an Oriental Trading Co. catalog and they are exactly what I am looking for however they are $19.95 I think for a dozen. Although this is a good deal I only need 4 of these fans.:sad2: Does anyone know where in the world I can find them to purchase individually so that I don't have to buy an entire dozen?:scared1:

Thanks,

I saw them at our Wal-Mart with Cindy on them for like $5. They are up by the cash registers.

They also have fans at Oriental Trading for 2.35 a piece.

I got little misting fans with a carabiner clip on the at walmart. They were $2.97 each and they had several different color combos. I think they were in the fan section.

We bought ne in disney last year and it is nice for 15. Maybe just plan on this being one of the souviners you buy

I just bought two today at Walmart for $2.97. They were at the end of an aisle with the pool accessories/summer stuff.

I bought these at Wal-Mart this weekend. They are $2.97 each. As someone mentioned above, it has the caribiner clip at the bottom and they fit nicely in your hand. And they were in the fan section although I had to search a lot for them because they just did not group all the smaller handheld fans together. They were sporadically placed throughout 3 different aisles. So, if you go to Wal-Mart and find one kind but not the other at first, don't assume they do not have it!!

Thanks guys.....I will be running back to Wal-Mart tomorrow to search again.:thanks: Gotta get those fans.....won't be able to survive Florida without them. :thumbsup2

We saw the previously posted fans at Walmart too, but we didn't buy them
I was wondering if anyone tried them who bought them-do they really work?
Thanks!

:confused3 I went straight to Wal-Mart and searched the whole store over....no little fans at my Wal-Mart.:sad1: May have to go to the Wal-Mart two towns over and see if they have them. I haven't given up hope just yet.:sad2:

That little fan on the carabiner clip is great. I got a chance to try mine out at Jazzfest yesterday. There is no shade at the fairgrounds. We were out in the sun all day. It was such a great way to refresh yourself and cool down. I think I will be back at Wal-Mart to grab a set for the other 2 adults going with us.

Thanks for the tip!!!:cool1:

I had one last summer and it worked well. Only problem was the battery does not have a cover. I had to tape the battery in. Fortunately, I am an over-prepared Diser, and had not only tape, but extra batteries!! SO if yours does not have a battery cover, be over-prepared!!:)

I love these boards for all the cool tips. I will have to check out our local Walmart for those fans too. You can't really go wrong for the price and plus they are nice and small. I hate carrying anything big and bulky through the parks. :)

Still none at my Walmart either. I'll have to go across town this week and try the other one. Thanks for all the info though!

I searched and searched and NO LUCK:sad2: at our Walmart. I also asked and was told they did not carry them.
I am going back again at weeks end, just in case they mysteriously "comein" the store.

If anyone uses the small one could you let us know if its durable enough for your trip?

Not sure what happened to your cover but the small ones with the caribiner do indeed have a cover.

Keep checking, it was later last year when I got mine at WM. They are usually on side of an endcap near automotive/fans/seasonal area. I have never seen them in the regular aisle.

As far as durability... I can attest to 2 days at Jazzfest in New Orleans this weekend. They were either in use or attached to my Baggallini. They got banged around and not a problem so far.

By the end of the weekend, they were covered with sunblock from my mom holding it after slathering on sunblock.

In my Wal-Mart, they were not on an end cap. They were on the row with the air conditioners and full size fans. They were in the middle of the aisle. If I had not gone down the aisle, I would never have found it!!!
