I am packing for my trip, and need to know an answer to a question about prescription medications.

I dont want to lug all my little brown bottles with prescriptions, and want to put them in tiny ziploc bags, will I have a problem
with no labels on these drugs? Never know...... just curious.

When I get my prescriptions filled, they give me a piece of paper with all the info on the bottles...including description of the pills, why it's needed, side effects, etc. I just take those, as they are flat and take up less space than all the asthma meds and such we have to take along! I do that for my DD when she goes to overnight camp as well, and it's always worked without a problem.

Wasnt sure, wondering if they require proof of meds from the pharmacy..... I dont keep those papers....... thanks!:bounce:

I wasn't asked on the cruise. They DO require it for DD's camps, of course, as well as the trip she's taking to Australia this summer, so I'm just in the habit of saving them. I also save them because then I have a record of refills, possible side effects and interactions, the lot # of the drugs, etc. When I refill, I throw out the old one and keep the newest one, and that way I only have like 5 pieces of paper to keep track of.

...

OK, so I'm slightly...*ahem*...overprepared with that.

I would check with the airlines/DCL about it, actually, as they may want some sort of proof? Like I said, I wasnt' asked, anywhere (airports or terminal), but...

All prescribed medication should be carried in its original container. Anything in a zip-loc bag might be considered suspicious. HTH.
