Hey!
This may be a silly question, but once you have your personal disney website, can you edit it or does Disney have to do it? Say for the welcome paragraph.

Thanks!
Jessica

You can edit it yourself but I don't know how...I don't have one yet

disney edits your welcome paragraph on your disney wedding site just email/call your sales manager on changing it. when ours was created about the 7 month mark my sm emailed me for info ie the welcome paragraph & events info.

Thank you! We just didn't have our welcome paragraph ready to send back with all of our other information to our SM. We would like to have one, but weren't sure if we would be able to submit it at another time!

Thanks!
Jess

OMG Jess have you noticed that your wedding is the day before mine! That's a Sunday where is your location? Are you intimate or custom?

We are havig a custom wedding at the Wedding Pavillion! What about yours? :)

Jess

Im sorry, i just noticed that I had my ticker set on the date we were going to set! We went down to Disney during that time this year for the marathon and realized that weekend was way too busy for us! So we chose the weekend after! :) I changed it now though!!

Jessica

To answer your question, Disney edits the webpages.

In all honesty, the previous sites were much more "Disney" than the generic ones they have now. I was not at all impressed with our site, so I created my own using templates, powered by wedding window.

If you would like to check it out...go to: Our Wedding Website. I was able to do so much more with it and we have had a lot of visitors and well wishes. Also, upon expiration, I can have it downloaded to a cd as a keepsake. Is that cool or what??? :cool1:

We're checking in on Sunday the 7th and getting married in the pavillion on the 8th! We're intimate though. I am really hoping that we don't have a lot of trouble checking in and handling things b/c of the marathon but we really wanted that date.

Congrats Jess!

MEME: I completely agree with you about Disney's websites. They are pretty boring and plain. Yours is beautiful though! We may have to look into doing something like that! Thank you for your help :)

Jessica

I didn't like the Disney site either. I was hoping for something special and thought that I would get to choose the colors and maybe the design a little but it was very plain. Maybe it's because I was an Intimate bride but Disney had to edit our page, it was very impersonal, and they kept getting the spelling of my maiden name wrong :sad2: Finally, after the third time they got my last name wrong, I just gave up and made my own site too, on weddingchannel.com to send to family and friends. We also did a photo site that we update periodically from before the wedding up to current pictures.

Disney has edited our page a couple times by my request and it was always done quickly and accurately. I've lucked out with Disney so far (knock on wood!). :goodvibes
