This is so frustrating, people will do anything for money!

I know that the GAC really does not give you a front of the line pass and all they are advertising (as we all know on here). My younger brother is disabled and we need these for him to be able to have the best experience as possible in the world. I am SOOO upset.

Here is the link:

Maybe if we ALL report this person AND message them we can get these taken off!

I am appalled I can't believe it! Where would they get them? It makes me angry! That some people have no scruples!(SP)

I just emailed them told them they should be ashamed of themselves! But 199.99 + shipping I can't imagine anyone buying it!

I have already emailed the seller and EBAY with my complete disgust. To me it is the same thing as selling a disability placard for your car. I guess some people will do anything for money.

Terrible!

But (not flaming), I would at least remove the link! I didn't think you were allowed to post pics of GAC and technically that would be doing so.

I get two symbols on my card (both seen) and I know what they mean (ie what accommodations have been made). I suggest removing the link as it will encourage some people (as this can be accessed without being a member) to go specifically for that kind of GAC.

Don't want to say too much. But please edit the link for all our sakes.

Edited to say: Just sent Disney and email. They may like to hear it sooner if someone wants to phone to report it. That way when the culprit enters the park to get more, Disney can eject them for life (or something to that effect) and stop this happening again.

i also sent them a message !

I cant understand some people, they said they got 5 as one of them had a problem, ive always got one with a number for the people on it not one each, they must have lied.

SOME PEOPLE ...... RUIN IT FOR US ALL ****:confused3

I tried to report but I found it frustrating it was like I only could give canned answers. Anyone got a better link to report.

One only people without a disbability would buy this. 2) if a person who does have a disbaility buys this they are being taken for it is given free. This just disgusts me. And we all know we have had to wait a long time in line for some rides sometimes it can even take even longer to get into a wheelchair accessible boat.

If you check the related post on the budget board - the auctions have all been taken down and the seller has sent an apology to anyone who emailed her.

I am not familiar with GAC passes but it now prompted a few questions I'd like to ask (separate post).

Jolly good thing too! Well done everyone, the Mouse salutes you ;) !

I got an email from ebay that they had reponded. But because of privacy good not tell me what they did. I am glads it was taken down. It is a priviledge that we get and do not want others abusing it. Or a poor soul who really does need it and does not know it is free to have.

Thanks for posting this thread glad it is no longer for sale.

I just tried clicking the link and it was not found, which is good, please note the following (and perhaps this has happened before, which would explain why this is what is happening):
I have an Annual Pass to Disneyland, when I go to renew my GAC (which unfortunately is different than the one I get at WDW which works much better, at least at DCA, but that's a whole other story) they almost always ask me for my ID to make sure I am the person that is on the pass from last time. I have no problems with this and honestly wish they would ask for my ID when I go to get on the attractions as I have seen many people give their pass to their friends and let them ride without the person actually riding for what ever the reason may be.

This is the simple solution that makes the passes sold on ebay worthless.

I didn't get on the internet until just now. Glad to see that the auction is gone (I did an ebay search for GACs and nothing shows up).
Thank You to the people who reported it.

I have heard of things even worse than this - there were people selling Make A Wish buttons at one point on International Drive so people could claim they were on a MAW trip and get real front of the line access. That's one reason why the MAW buttons have been changed to a more 'generic' button and there is more emphasis on the paperwork that goes along with the button.

OMG!!!! Rhetorical question, I know, but what kind of scumbag would have their healthy child pretend to be on a MAW trip to get to the front of the line?!?

Unfortunately there are a lot out there that do such things, such as when Disneyland required doctor's notes to get a Special Assistance Pass before they changed to not requiring one, which was before the whole GAC thing that we now have, people were selling fake doctor's notes just outside of Disney property so that people could get a "FRONT OF THE LINE PASS" which the SAP never was anyway.

I take it GACs don't have dates on them? It seems to me that Disney should issue them for the length of the eligible person's trip and then have them expire so people can't give them away or try to sell them. That would make the most sense to me.

Yes, they do have Valid Dates on them.
::yes::
They have valid dates AND a name on them and some other things that I don't want to add here.

Plus, the card by itself only says it is not meant to shorten or eliminate waits in line and that if you want to do that, you should use Fastpass.
The accomidations vary by what the need is and the CMs in Guest Services have stamps for those (not written in).

If the ones for sale DIDN'T have names, dates and numbers on them, then either someone got ahold of some unused ones (a ?CM??) or someone made their own. That's why I won't allow any pictures of the GACs posted here.

Hi...I am brand new to the forums, but have been reading this one, and I happened across a listing on Ebay for a GAC. I didn't even know what they were, and came here searching for info, when I stumbled across this thread.

Glad I found out before bidding!

I can't seem to make a link work here, but just go to ebay.com, and type in the item number in the search box

I wish us all luck!
