Peronalizing MB for Dec. check in's

Did anyone else get the "Shipping Confirmation" error when trying to personal their MB's this morning? Or have any other Cdn's been able to successfully personalize their MB's?

We are going in November (2 families) and we were successfully able to personalize our bands without any errors.

You might want to go in again and see what the current status is. I'm still not aware that the bands are shipping to Canada and anticipate them being at our resort when we check in.

No you're right they are not shipping to Canada and they note that addresses outside of the States will be ready at the resort. I just get an error message using my home address and wondered if anyone else was successful.

My friend had that problem, maybe you're too far out for the MB??

She finally was able to "confirm" the shipping address, the city, Ottawa, was wrong (even though we live in Ottawa), it kept saying the city was invalid. Then I suggested to use the city name before the amalgamation of Ottawa and it worked.

Thanks, I actually just tried on my iphone and I was able to confirm it there and now I can customize on the website. I'm in the burbs of Ottawa as well.

That happens to me every now and then her in Toronto. Some websites when I put in my postal code will flag it and say I have the wrong city. The odd thing is Canad Post apparently never reconsied East York as being a city in Toronto like the rest of them.

So it finally let me in today to customize my magic bands (we're going Dec 7th) and it said that it won't ship to Canadian addresses, was I supposed to put in my address or the resort we are staying at address?

It doesn't really matter. Your bands will ship to your resort no matter what address you use.

Going right after New Years and of course I have been unable to personalize my bands other than names
Only colour is gray that is showing
Is it just too early or is this a glitch?
Also going along with this I have annual passes that I will be using, I have put them onto my Disney experience but have been unable to do fast passes
Is it also too early to do this ?
Lots of changes at Disney!

Yes, I believe it's too early. I think 60 days from your trip is when you can make FP selections with an AP. But keep checking back in early November. You never really know when it will open up.

Now just to wait to see how this all comes together! We have 3 separate reservations for our 1 week stay to cover PIN code with Disney travel and our DVC stay(waited too long to reserve!) so I am anticipating 3 sets of bands for our stay!
To think that multiple key cards confused my husband!!
Will be packing my sharpie to mark them #1,2 or 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You will get each set at each new check-in, but your original ones should work the entire time. (We never used our second set during our recent Thanksgiving weekend trip.).

Also, since you need to personalize three sets, you could just name them differently ... For example, we did one set with full first names like Michael and the second with our "everyday" names - like mom, or Mike.

The only minor annoyance was "deactivating" 16 bands and 16 kttw cards once we got home. I manage all 8 accounts and you can only deactivate one band/card at a time. The kttw cards are still being given out as backups to the mbs, we never used them.

I was running into a problem with the Shipping Confirmation (even though they get sent to the hotel). It turned out that it was because I didn't have a space in my postal code!

I talked to tech support and said that often people don't put that space in, they might want to take that validation out.
