Permits! It's a conspiracy!!!

Do you need a permit for every little thing in your city? Here, they are absolutely KILLING us just because we're putting in a pool.

First the pool permit, next the electrical inspection - all to the tune of over a hundred bucks.

To BREATHE, we're going to need a permit pretty soon.

Our village- Lombard (suburb of Chicago) is the same way. We had to pay a $68 permit charge to put up a plastic storage shed!!! The kind you buy at Home Depot. Now we did get the tube of vaseline with the permit....
Bureaucracy is alive and well in Chicago.

They are trying to require all Boston residents to get special permits to have Pit Bull terriers or any mix thereof or other breed similiar. Apparently they don't know that the morons who train their dogs to be vicious are the problem, and they are just hurting good dog owners by doing this.

Here in this little town we need permits for everything too-pools, sheds (mom and stepdad got fined last year cuz they didn't believe me when i told them they needed a permit....), I think you even need a permit to build a deck.
