Perks when renting points?

I know this is probably asked a lot, but I did google and couldn't find my answer!
As a renter, do we get any of the discounts or epcot lounge access?

No. Sorry. DVC discounts and perks are not extended to renters. The ones you asked about are not even available to all DVC Members.

But you don't have to pay for parking, and you qualify for any perk or discount that any other on-site guest is entitled to (for example, EE).

FWIW, they don't even offer those perks to DVC members who purchase their contracts on the resale market.

Good to know -I thought all DVC members got 10% off dining and merch - but I am out of the loop!

In 2016, DVD changed the rules and to be eligible for membership extras (perks), you must own points purchased directly from Disney and not on the resale market. Owners contracts purchased before 2016 are grandfathered in as long as they continue to own them.

Epcot member lounge and dining/merchandise discounts require a valid DVC member card showing you are entitled to perks You won’t have one as a renter.
