Perfume on the ship

Have you ever purchased cologne or perfume in the gift shops on the ship ? Being duty free ,can you save much ? I'm almost out of mine, And thought I'd buy it on board if the price was better.

I have purchased perfume on board. Yes you can save money over say Macys or Dillards. But if your fragrance is offered at once of those discount fragrance places on line then the online place would be less expensive. I love my fragrance purchased on boarad because it reminds me of the cruise everytime I use it, lol

I've purchased fragrance a few times on board ship. I can't say whether it's less expensive or not (quite honestly I have no idea how much I pay for perfume - if I like it I buy it). I purchased it because I found ones that I've never found locally.

And, as someone else stated, everytime I look at it or use it, it reminds me of being on the cruise.

what ports are you stopping at? I have found the prices much better at some of the ports and they usually have an extensive cosmetics line as well. I would check the duty free shops in the ports before I purchased on board.
I know that, while I don't buy it for myself, I picked up a dior perfume for my friend and it was cheaper in port.
just a thought.....

We are on the western Caribbean cruise. Not sure if we'll do any shopping.We'll be at the beach most of the time. That's why I was inquiring about the shops on the ship.
