Perfume Find - Smells Exactly Like Soarin' Ride!

I recently stopped by a Le Labo boutique (high end perfumery in many major cities). Got a sample of Baie 19 after loving it at the store. Tried it on today and figured out why...it smells *exactly* like the Soarin' ride (specifically, the scent during the Polynesia scene, with the outrigger canoes). Such a strange but fun discovery!

The website notes: "BAIE 19 should have been called Water 19. Not that it smells like nothing (though nothing smells like it), but it has this crisp, wet, drenched effect that water gives to the earth after the rain…"

I ordered the sample and it arrived recently. I was so excited to smell it but now I have Covid and it smells like nothing. Hopefully I can smell it soon!

Since we're on the topic of Soarin' and perfume, what is that lovely floral scent during the Taj Mahal scene? I overheard a lady said Jasmine during the ride, so I bought a perfume oil called "Indian Jasmine" from Nest. Unfortunately, I don't think that's the right fragrance.

This came today, and you are right - it is just like it!! At first, it was more grassy and less sweet - I think because it was still hot from being shipped and in the UPS truck-but the longer I have it on, the more floral it gets and the more it smells exactly like that scene in Soarin!! Thank you!

Not Disney related, but I love that line of perfume, the Rose 31is the toiletries scent they use at the Fairmont in San Fransisco (lotion, shower gel), I still have a tiny bit in my shoer gel bottle from 6 years ago...i savor it!

The ocean scene in Soarin' is my favorite scent and I am constantly on the lookout for ways to experience it. Thank you for sharing! I will check this out. I also think Endless Sea at Bath and Body Works smells like the ocean scene in Soarin'.

The Body Shop Moringa shampoo smells like Disney something to me. Maybe Basin in general? It makes me feel like I'm at Grand Floridian for some reason.
