Perfect.

Wow - at least I know I'm not alone.

I am so emotional, I tear up when seeing the castle for the first time each trip, when watching others see the castle, when my children see their favorite characters, seeing the boys faces after riding Mission Space, watching other little girls in their prinesses dresses going to PSB, and especially during Wishes. I was a mess this past trip....DH couldn't believe how emotional I was.
I think it is part of the WDW Magic.

Each time I see the castle I remember how it felt to be a child on Christmas morning.
I agree about the song at the end of the American Adventure also - "Golden Dream".
I searched until I found a CD that had that track - finally found it on Ebay. It always brings tears to my eyes. princess:

Thank goodness I am not crazy! I feel the same way! Watching our Disney home videos, the planning video, hearing the music to Wishes, etc. thay all make me teary! It really feels like my heart swells up when I am at WDW during something emotional. The OP hit the nail on the head for me as far as the explanation of what makes me feel so happy...the music, looking at all the faces around me, the anticipation of what happens next, etc. I love it! It truly does set WDW apart. For me, the moment right before the big drop on Splash is emotional...especially at night when you can see the lights of the Park and the Contemp in the distance.

It is so good to see that I am not alone. When we first arrive at Magic Kingdom and I look down Main Street towards the castle I tear up. I loved the snow falling during Christmas on Main Street. When Wishes music plays I also feel like crying. I love DisneyWorld and I am sooo excited I am so close to being there.
Yep, I could cry just thinking about it.

I've never seen any of the fireworks shows! :earseek: Bf and I were more interested in the rides and such last year (low lines during shows). But rest assured, we are hitting every show up this year!

Illuminations can do it for me, especially the words to the song ...and we'll go on through the laughter and the tears...

Another one used to be True Colors at Honey I shrunk the Audience. I'd love to get a video of that.

Oh my gosh if you ever get a video, PLEASE post a note on these boards!

I LOVE that song - I thought I was the only one that cried during that preshow (I miss it!).

ME TOO! I had no idea before my trip a few weeks ago that it had been removed.

The parades, Illuminations, seeing the castle or Spaceship Earth, reading these posts, the whistling from the jail cell at Pirates, and even the noises of the ride systems that you're not really supposed to hear make me tear up.

I was disappointed in the Wishes music, though. It did nothing for me. The missing trees from around the castle, however, made me burst into tears.
