I know many of you had bought this pan for Christmas (whether for yourself or as a gift). I am known as the brownie queen around here. And even though I'm not interested in the pan for myself (I have my own pan that I use) but I've always wondered about it.

Does it work well? Is it really non stick or do you use spray for it?

I have one and it works GREAT!! It really does make perfect brownies lol They have turned out great every single time...they all get done the same way because of the thing that you put on top.Its funny but I do love this pan...oh I spray it down with cooking spray.

I got one for Christmas from MIL. I love it. We have made brownies and cookie bars in it so far. The only thing is, you have to eat them fast, or keep them covered because they will dry out faster. We choose to eat them fast. :lmao:

Good call!!! :)

I've been wanting one of these. It's nice to know it really does work!

I've been wanting one also, but now I've found a pan I want even more.......it's at Williams-Sonoma and it's a brownie pan that makes your brownies into the shape of a chocolate bar. The pan made my mouth water and it didn't even have brownies in it LOL!

I got one, also. I hadn't even heard of the silly thing until I opened it Christmas morning. I use Ghirardelli mix from Costco and they came out perfect. You do have to spray the pieces and parts of the pan.

Oh man...I had one of these in my cart for myself when I was Christmas shopping and I ended up putting it back, thinking I didn't need another kitchen gadget/pan. Im gonna have to get this now. Thanks!:upsidedow

I got this pan for Christmas and I love it! The brownies were cooked perfectly and I love that they were all the same size!!! :thumbsup2

See the thing that's turned me off the pan even tho my kids really want it is that we all like the middle brownies, not the edge ones. OTH the Williams sonoma one sounds like my kind of pan. I'm looking it up right now. :rotfl:

I bought one for myself right before Christmas, mainly because I had to find out the answer to a nagging question- do all the brownies have edges like the ones around the edges of a regular pan? Some of the family figured all of the brownies would come out with edges because of the metal pieces in the middle, and some of us said they would not all have edges.

Well, the answer is- no, the ones in the middle do not have edges. They come out just as if they had been cut after baking.:)

The pan really does work as advertised (which surprised us) and makes delicious brownies EVERY time! You do need to spray all the metal parts of the pan tokeep them from sticking, and you need to remove the insert piece while the brownies are still warm. We love the pan and the brownies it makes!

I think we posted at the same time! The middle brownies do not have edges.

I found one at Publix for $8 last weekend, and the brownies are in the oven right now. :thumbsup2 DD was so thrilled when I brought it home, I'm glad to hear the good reviews.

Glad to hear that the middle still don't have edges. My hubby likes the edges but I hate them - middle all the way! We're a good brownie eating couple. ;)

On a side note - use a plastic knife to cut brownies. Cuts clean with no messy edges (and a lot cheaper than a new pan!)
