Per room or per reservation?

My family of 9 is staying in 3 rooms and we are on the dining plan. Each room has one adult, then we have 2 kids in each room, but only 2 of them are classified as kids by Disney- 4 of them are adults on the dining plan.

When we made ADRs we made according to the reservation/party, not individually by room. (For a party of 9, not 3/3/3)

For quick service- will any of us be able to order for anyone on the reservation? Or will things be divided up by rooms? I'm wondering if we split up how this will work out?

I've seen comments that it's divided up by room, but would our reservations be considered a room, even if we have 3 rooms for our party?

The credits are pooled together by room reservation. So you may run into issues when you split up if people from different rooms go about. You'd have to have each member "pay" for each meal from his/her MB that are in a different room.

For ADRs it doesn't matter until you go to "pay" then you tell them how many credits are to be charged to what band.

At TS restaurants you will need 1 MB from each room so that the correct number of credits are deducted from each room. While it seems simpler to have all the credits deducted from one band, the servers are not supposed to do this. For example, if Room 1 has 2 Adults, 1 Child registered that would be the max number of credits a server should deduct for that room at one meal.

Do you have a separate reservation number for each room? If so, everything will be divided by room. If you have one reservation number for more than one romm as we have had in the past, all the credits will be pooled.

Basically, it boils down to how many reservation numbers you have.

If we have 3 separate numbers now, is it possible to change that so that we are on one reservation?

My mother is the one who made all the arrangements with the travel agent, but it looks like we have 3 separate numbers on the Disney site.

I don't know. It was done that way for us because we were a family of 5-3 kids and 2 parents.

No. Their policy is to book it that way.
