hello can anyone tell me what the seats are like in row 48 also row 60 please as i have never been with virgin and i need help please

We travelled in row 48 last April. On the plus side there is quite a gap to the seats behind and you can use the space to get up and stretch your legs for a while. The downside is that there is only a half-size overhead locker for these seats and the cabin crew tend to use it for storing the bags of headphones for the IFE so you have to share the larger locker in front with two other rows. Can't help with row 60 I'm afraid, never used this one before! :teeth: :wave2:

We had Row 60 A,B and C last year flying back to Manchester. I chose them because the one seat (A) has no other seat behind it - therefore no accidental kicks in the back!!

It is the only flight that i have actually fallen asleep on. Slept for nearly 5 hours. The only minus fact is that we had to wait quite a long time to get off the plane.

I have pre-booked these seats again for this years flight home. Hope this is off some help to you.

Not a great view in 48. Here's a pic of DD in the window seat last April. You can see that the window is partially behind the seatback of 47K;

Right over the main wing so you should at least have a good view of the starboard engines!! :teeth:

We travelled row 60 last year - fine seat for our first economy trip in a few years. Except for our return leg when someone else had also been allocated these seats. We got moved to further up the front - had three kids sat in the seats in front of us (the emergency exit row seats) and as soon as the plane had taken off they were bouncing up and down putting the seats backwards and forwards :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

We're in row 48 going out - no window and last to be served food - think I might have a rethink!

We sat in 30 a b and c last year.

Had a full window view, and full locker above. Close to the door, to get out once first class and PE had got off the plane.

You are also close to the kitchen, so get your food fairly quickly.

Sitting in these seats again this year, as they were fine.

I think we may have been sat near the wing, so part of the view was obsturcted.

Oh this drives me barmy! Wish people wouldn't do that.

We returned today and had row 60 both ways J&K window seats...thought they were good..food served quickly and no long toilet queues.

DH felt middle seat foot space restrictive due to some sort of box taking up available space..we had a free seat beside us so it wasnt too much of a problem...it would be ok for small folks though.

Yes we were last off the plane but we always queue to the right and go through american passport lines and cases were waiting.

We'd request these seats again.
