Pepsi at the Park

I know that Coke is the official soft drink sponsor of Disney. But does anyone know of a place in DTD to get a pepsi? Are cans allowed past security?

I really must have my Pepsi fix daily...

I know for a fact you won't find Pepsi anywhere INSIDE the parks. I would be VERY surprised if you find it in DtD. I doubt security will stop you from bringing plastic bottled Pepsi in a backpack.

We just did this earlier this week without any problem! (Not because we don't like Coke, we just didn't want to have to buy it at the park!)

Also not sure if anyone sells Pepsi in DtD but you can definitely bring them into the park. They haven't instituted a soda check yet....

This thread got me thinking and I did a little menu searching on line. Of the menus I could find, every single one of them serves Coke, not Pepsi.

You can bring you own drinks into the park and ask for a cup of ice to chill the drink. Also there are lockers you can deposit you drinks and keep them cold. Security is outside of the picnic area so they are not going to stop people from bringing in big tubs of fried chicken but expect to be told that food is not allowed in the park if you are rolling along lots of food. Snacks, drinks and special needs are allowed in the parks of course. It is up to the people at the gates to stop guests from rolling in the meals and I used to bring in whole meals a couple years ago.

Oh Aliza, I am with you...I absolutely HATE anything COKE and absolutely LOVE my Diet Pepsi!!! And like posters here have replied....no PEPSI at the LAND!!!

I am wayyyyy to lazy to bring my own soda to the LAND!

Pepsi Co. products are not sold anywhere inside the Disneyland Resort, since Coca-Cola is the official beverage supplier for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts.

Oddly enough though, it wasn't always that way. When Disneyland Park first opened and for many years after that, Pepsi Co. and Coca-Cola shared the park fairly well.

You could get Pepsi Co. products at all restaurants west of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Likewise, you could get Coca-Cola products at all restaurants east of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

How things change, eh?

It probably has something to do with the fact that Disney gets all their Coca-Cola syrup FREE in exchange for exclusive advertising for Coke products.

Go to Target when you get there, buy some Pepsi in the plastic bottles and put them in your fridge when you get to your room. Cold Pepsi for you as long you don't forget it in your room.
