I have been reading so many conflicting things regarding the pepper market at Csr in reference to the QSDP. Can you use a counter service credit here for the breakfast and lunch buffet. And do they even still offer buffets?, as i am reading differently in that regards too. Trying to get the most out of our QSDP and this would be a great place to try. Anyone been there recently that can confirm either way? Thank you all.

Breakfast and lunch are buffets. Dinner is not a buffet. You can use a quick service credit for any meal at Pepper Market.

Is the buffet cafeteria style where you just pick one item or is it like a traditional all you can eat buffet?

From the pics ive seen its a traditional buffet.

If you dont want the buffet you can always order from the pool grill. They have burgers nachos etc. Not sure about their hours thou.

We stayed at Coronado Sept 2011 and ate at the pepper market a few times. While it is a great value for a quick service credit it is not (or wasn't last year) a traditional buffet. Good food cooked to order with servers that bring you your drinks clear away plates ect. Is worth a try. Hope that helps:thumbsup2

They changed since then...it IS actually run as a traditional buffet for breakfast and lunch now.

The cooked to order version you describe is only at dinner now.:thumbsup2

So is it worth trying again? We are going in early Oct...how was the buffet? Is it a sit down credit or still a quick service? Thanks:)

If you aren't staying at CSR, it really isn't worth going out of your way to eat there.

We were not impressed with Pepper Market before the change over...mediocre food and mediocre service. The counter-service credit would be spent better elsewhere, IMO.

This exactly, never been impressed with Pepper Market, but would be super disappointed if I travelled just because it looked like a great deal on the DDP. If the food is yuckky who cares how much money you saved! lol
