People without park reservations being sent to DCA

FYI....I just spoke to a buddy of mine who bought single park tickets with the intent to go to Disneyland but forgot to make a DL reservation.

Cast Members said they could save the tickets for a later date or that there was space availability at DCA if they wanted to go to a park today.

They really weren't interested in DCA until Avengers Campus opens but didn't want to waste the day and the drive to get to the parks. Lessoned learned.

He did mention there was about 15 other families in the same situation without reservations and about 75% of them opted to go to DCA.

Makes sense if there is availability. I haven’t followed the reservation calendar closely, so don’t know if it showed on the calendar as available, but if it does, sounds like just saving them the step of booking it online right then.

It’s nice to hear Disney is trying to be as flexible as they can, but I wouldn’t advise anybody purposely try this, since it does sound like it’s dependent on capacity/availability.
