People with Disney Names...

I have family in Anaheim, CA with the last name "White." My Aunt offered all the sons $1500 if they would name their daughter "Snow."( this was in the 80s, so $1500 was not insignificant) One finally made it a middle name and got 1/2 the money :confused3

Our second son was our Disney souviner- his middle name is Elias, but not necessarily after Walt, though :) His first name starts with a C and our last name starts with an O- his initials are CEO. We expect big things from him :thumbsup2

We just had our first ds on Wednesday and named him Flynn. I claim his name is from Tangled and my husband claims it is from Tron!

I know an Ariel at our church and there is a Cinderella that works at one of my local Dollar Tree stores. I love being in there and hearing the person up front page "Cinderella, we need you up front"....too cool. We had a Cinderella visit our church years ago. I dont think its the same one, but it may be. My good friend hunted me down at church that Sunday Cinderella visited just to introduce me to her.

My sister was going to name her first daughter Ariel, but then The Little Mermaid came out and she didn't want her to be named after a fish lol. So she made Ariel her middle name but spelled it A-R-I-E-L-L-E. My niece is now almost 22 and about to marry her fiance: Eric!

My stepbrother and his wife had a baby girl in August and her middle name is Ella. That made me a little sad, because I planned on naming my daughter Ella, but what are you gonna do?

BF and I named our dog Buzz and we plan to get another one in a few months. If it's a boy it will be Woody and if it's a girl it will be Jessie.

I'm pregnant right now, and if baby ends up a boy, his middle name will be Elias...right after Walt himself. I've even considered it a first name, but fear people would call him Eli, and people would assume it was short for Elijah, which it wouldn't be.

We had the name Connor Elias, Elias after WED, picked out for 6 years and ended up with 3 girls! :lmao:

If I ever have a girl her name will be Aurora. I contemplated Aurora Rose, but a friends said that is too many r's.

I like Flynn for a boy. Philip is also a possibility.

Um btw....I really like Sleeping Beauty

I have an uncle named Mickey. It's not short for Michael, his name is actually Mickey. Not sure if his parents named him directly after THE mouse but he likes to sing M-I-C-K-E-Y...lol and can't figure out why some people ask how to spell his name.
I have a cat I named Cruella DeVille, yes she is mean, or was back when she was younger.

My oldest daughter is Wendy. When my granddaughter was born my dd couldn't decide between 'Tia' or 'Monae' for a middle name, so she hyphenated it 'Tia-Monae'. Not Disney but her little big brother couldn't say it so he called her 'Nemo'.

:) My first name is Lucretia. Written on the gray wall outside the exit of HM, I am Master Gracie's 8th wife :scared1:.....creepy...bit of trivia for your next trip.

I have a niece named Ella, after Cinderella. My BIL would not agree to Cinderella, so the compromise was Ella.

I recently learned that the mom of one of DD's friends is named Briar Rose. She goes by Rose, so I had no idea. Sleeping Beauty was the very first movie her mom ever saw in a theater and the name always stuck with her. Her mom really wanted her to carry on the "tradition" and name her daughter Aurora, but Rose refused. She named her Isabella instead, but she goes by Belle. Rose swears her daughter's name has nothing to do with Beauty and the Beast, but I don't know.... :)
