People with Disney Names...

A friend of mine's daughter is name Jasmine Ariel. She is a teenager and was born in the mid 90's. Here mother loved both movies and couldn't decide so she gave her a first and middle disney name.

At my SIL's high school graduation there was an Ariel Jasmine. She would have been born around the time those two movies came out.

My brother's name was Michael, but his wife called him Mickey a lot. He hated it. :mickeyjum

That's funny my brother is also Michael but all his buddies call him Mickey(it's an Irish thing I guess) and my mom hates it!

I'm pondering naming a daughter "Aurora". She'snoy mt favorite Princess, but it's a nice name.

Snow White is my favorite Princess and I realize my name, Jennifer basically means Snow White:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

I am a teacher so I come across all kinds of names. Last year I had an Ariel and a Tiana (spelled Tianna) in the same class. This year I have a Sebastian. Have taught 4 Jasmines. Jasmine and Ariel seem to be the most popular.

Forgot our neighbor's daughter's name is Joselyn Aurora. Her mom loved sleeping beauty growing up.

I have a friend who is so into Disney (like all of us) - she has daughters Ariel and Aurora, and is pregnant right now with another girl - she's naming this baby Tiana. I'm all for naming things after Disney but for some reason I think it's getting a bit much! Hey to each their own. My son Dane is named after a character in the Thorn Birds (well not after the character or actor, I just loved the name!)

We know twins named Ariel and Aurora.

DH's middle name is Ariel:) In Hebrew it is a masculine name and is very popular for boys in Israel (Ariel Sharon, etc)

We tell him his name is why our daughter loves princesses so much.:rotfl:

His first name is just a simple American name. I guess he's lucky his parents named him that way. His sister just got one name. His parents were children of Holocaust survivors who made it to Peru with the goal of getting to the US eventually. They wanted their kids to have American names to make the transition easier. But then the Little Mermaid came out.

All things considered, it's just fine, but it's comical when I want to make him squirm in front of other people.

Taught the sweetest little girl a few years back "Blanca Nieves" which is Spanish for Snow White!!

Taught a few Ariels - including one boy named Ariel, it was hard to explain to his classmates that it can be a boy's name too!!

I've had a Jasmine and an Alice too!!

Not Disney-related, but I taught a little girl name "Millenia" cause she was born in the year 2000 for the Millenium!! :lmao:

I'm pregnant right now, and if baby ends up a boy, his middle name will be Elias...right after Walt himself. I've even considered it a first name, but fear people would call him Eli, and people would assume it was short for Elijah, which it wouldn't be.

Congrats on your baby!:flower3:

I have a friend that named her dd Aurora. :lovestruc Love that name

My 11 yr. old niece is named Disneyana! She was named after the Disneyana collectables! Everyone told my sister she would grow up and hate her name but so far she loves having it!! And as much as she loves EVERYTHING disney I think she will always love it!!

My DGD's name is Ella. When people have a hard time grasping that I just tell them her name is Cinderella without the Cinder. She is my little princess.

I have had pets with Disney names and currently have a Simba.

My sister is Alice and my little one is Rose(Briar Rose) but she was named after her great grandmother.
