People who whine and don't do anything....

I'm sitting here witness to this staff member that is going on and on and on and on about the paperwork that she has to do, the clients that she has been seeing, blah blah blah.....whine whine whine (I'd like to ask her if she'd like cheese with that whine....). Well...the problem is, SHE WANDERS AROUND THE OFFICE ALL DAY WHEN SHE'S NOT IN WITH CLIENTS!!!!!! She cannot sit still, worries about what other people are doing and acts like she is the director when she's not....she doesn't get paperwork done because she sits and complains to everyone about all the clients she has and all the paperwork she has and yet she doesn't sit down and do it!!!!!!

I just don't get it...I don't whine unless I've attempted something and it isn't working out right or I can't accomplish something that I've been working on over and over. But I don't start whining until I've attempted to rectify the situation first..... CALGON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UGH....okay, vent over - you may now return to your regularly scheduled DISing!!!!

Unfortunatly I don't know of a polite way to say 'FOR GODSAKE SHUT YOUR WHINNING GOB AND DO SOME WORK'.

Our boss and several others in our area do the same thing. All I hear from my boss is how hard he works, doesn't have enough time, blah, blah, blah......I always think, if you'd sit down, quit giving us your disertations on life and any other topic around, you wouldn't have these problems!! I can totally empathize with you!!

December99, I would also note that there are a lot of WHINERS on the DIS . Lots of hand-wringing, notification of moderators, and complaining when someone DARES to offer an alternative view which they decide is insulting. . I find them to be.............PATHETIC

As far as whiners at work, every job has them. I ususally ask the ones who work with me if they'd like a little cheese with that whine!!!!!!!
