i don’t get it why people come to Orlando just to waste their precious vacation/park time/quality park time when..... they switch hotels like 4 times during their vacation when they are only in Orlando for a week?!!!!!

What’s wrong with you people who do that?!!!!

WHY?!!!!!

Why waste precious park time switching hotels like SOOOOOO many times that you aren’t enjoying your vacations?!!!!!

Just stay at ur damn hotel what wrong with staying at 1 HOTEL during your week long stay

What’s wrong with you tourists who switch hotels like 4 times when you are only here for a week?!!!!!

Why go through that arrgrivation and stress during your precious vacation time you could be having the The parks that you may only get once a year/Lifetime that you come to Disney?!!!!!!!

I see it a lot and it makes me roll my eyes but I go about my business. It’s not my concern nor should it be yours.

I don't do it either, but I can easily see how to make it very easy and not waste any time at all:

Do online check-in for each part of the stay so I get a text when my next room is ready and therefore have my room number. Pack each stays clothes in a separate packing cube, and only pull that stay's cube out of the luggage. Put toiletries in a roll-up, hanging bag. On moving day, put everything back in the packing cube, roll up the toiletry bag, put them back in the luggage and leave them for Disney to move for me. Go to the parks, and when it's time to go "home," go to my new room. Pull out that stay's packing cube and my toiletries and enjoy. The only time I"m "wasting" is the extra minute or two it takes to take out and put back my cube and toiletries.

I don't switch unless you count time spent at a Universal hotel. But why are you wasting your time worrying about what others do?

"What's wrong with people like that"?? Seriously?

Please tell me you're a 12 year old kid on your parent's account. And that you simply don't understand yet that not all people see the world in exactly the same way you do.

As you grow up, you'll realize that the world is full of different kinds of people. And that they have different preferences, different ideas of what's fun and what to expect in a vacation. And that their way, while it may not be your way (or mine, for that matter) suits them perfectly.

So, no, we don't do split stays. For my family, one resort where we can unpack and be comfortable for a week is the way to go.

But I'm sure there are 12 year olds out there asking what's wrong with people like me, who don't get the value of a split stay.

And that their parents are shaking their heads at the question, knowing that the self-righteous phase will eventually end.

Since the same thread was also created on the Resorts board where such a topic belongs, closing.
