For those that believe she's a traitor, do you feel the same about the administrations that put our soldiers there in the first place? She's since apologized. The same can't be said for the government.

She's become nothing but a scapegoat for what happened there.

My father, a Korean Vet, absolutely hates her. If I see a glimps of her on TV when he is around I change it immediately if I don't want to get the "Jane Fonda is a pig" talk.

My dad is a Vietnam vet and he never has said anything about her. Actually makes me wonder what he think I will have to ask him. BUT my husband HATES her with a passion.

Roman Polanski's victim forgave him publicly I don't think it should be over looked at all but can you imagine what kind of mental condition he was in at this time his wife and unborn child brutally murdered by the Manson family. Just horrible all around.

BUT I can see how things like this make her seem more human after society had bashed her for how many years. NOT a fan at all BUT I did watch her on Oprah a while back. I guess society will never forgive some things.

I am sorry - I thought intelligent posters would understand that I do not believe she committed treason. Looks have nothing to do with a person being good or bad.

I simply believe she is a good person who has devoted time and money to worthy causes. The fact she looks good was just a compliment on her recent photos I saw this week.

My FIL did three tours in Vietnam and I think he ranked Satan ahead of Jane Fonda.

I'm a little more forgiving, however, it was clear to me that to many of those fighting in Vietnam, whatever Jane Fonda said or did not sit well with them.

If what she did was treason then why wasn't she charged? That was one messed up and unpopular war and lots of people made mistakes. I prefer to believe that she made a big mistake and that it's time to move on.
