Okay, so i just look at the mail and there, sitting right in front of me, was a People To People asking me, Grace Elizabeth, to join them on there summer 2009 JAPAN trip and so now i have to choose, going to Japan with kids who are my age and older that i barely know or i can go to Spain not this coming spring but the one after with all the kids in my grade can you guys help me choose?!!?!?!!?!

They give them to any one who was ever an honor roll student. Sorry to burst your bubble, but you're not special, everyone gets these things. Per several friends who've taken these trips, they are just over-priced tour guides trying to make money.

Save your money, go to Spain. And I'm not just saying this because I'm Spanish.

i've never gotten one either and as i have had relatives who've been i should have been picked but alas i wasn't!

And in reality it isn't that overpriced. Its like $2000 for 2 weeks in Europe (my friends went this summer) That was the price of everything...thats not near bad...For air fare, food, hotels and such. It would cost that booking on your own

I've gotten them several of them a year for years. I can't remember all of them though, the only one I remember is Australia.

They are really overpriced. Go to Spain, you will have more fun.

I got one inviting me to spend 3 weeks in the summer in England, Italy, and France. I'm thinking of going, but we are going to a meeting for it next month.

I'd choose Spain though, since you know the kids going.

I got on of those a couple weeks ago but for Australia.
Almost everyone in our grade got one, and a couple kids were thinking about going but they found out it was really really expensive, so I don't think anyone is going.
I'd save your money and go Spain.

i went to washington dc with people to people. the program was amazing. i personally would rather go to spain though

I've gotten about 12 variations of thsoe. One was to 7 european countries for 3 weeks, one to china, one to japan, one to australia, one to africa and then the rest were all inside the US.

I'd go to Spain with my friends, though.
