People! Take the resort monorail!

And again I say Shhhhhh!![/QUOTE]

Okay, okay!! You're right, it is a nice little secret. But, when I see families with little kids waiting in the long lines in the heat, they should know the option.

No one likes a meltdown (and I'm talking the parents here :rotfl2:) before you even get to a park!

Let me start by saying that we're all entitled to our opinions, and please don't attack me for being honest.

That being said... I think the monorail resort line is for monorail resort guests. If I'm paying for a room at the Floridian, why can't I have a dedicated mode of transportation free of people who are staying elsewhere. But, I guess after all... it's DisneyWorld, so it's all good. :goodvibes

As someone pointed out already, the practice of restricting the resort monorail to WDW resort guests stopped almost twenty years ago.

p.s... My wife calls me an elitist, but I can't be the only person on the planet with this opinion.

In general, I'm referring to guests who are trying to get back to the TTC. They have the express monorail & a ferry to get them there.
The majority of the time, guests are not going to take the resort monorail from MK to TTC at park closing....it takes too long. The Express is much faster. Only an idiot would take the resort monorail to get to TTC, unless they had time to kill.
But...anyone, at any time, is welcome to use either one of the monorail lines. The only time it can be otherwise is for EMHs in the morning. There have been instances where you have had to show resort ID to get on the Express Monorail..if it's even running that early...in order to access EMHs at MK.
But, generally speaking, anyone can use any transportation they like. That would be like me saying that no one except those staying at an Epcot resort should be allowed to use the walkway to DHS. It's a perk for those who stay there but anyone can use it.
