I know we are Pooh sided on the WDW side but I wasn't so sure on this side. I know there is a who fits FJ thread but this is a different ride question.

Is there a size restriction for Pteranodon flyers?

Also if you go straight there when they let you off the bridge from on site early entry can you ride without a small child?

FYI I will be traveling solo June 5-7

There is no size restriction that I am aware of , but the seats are not big.I wouldn't count on being able to ride it without a child.IME they stick to that rule pretty closely( at least they did when I was there in Jan) but you can try

You have to have a child that is within the minimum and maximum height restriction in order to ride.

This attraction is designed for children 36" to 56" in height. Guests over 56" in height must be accompanied by a child meeting the 36" height requirement.

As for size of grownup, DH can't ride ANY of the size-restricted rides yet, but he was able to ride the Flyers with DS.

Yup - you must have a kid within the height range. I've seen many ask, and never seen one get to ride without a kid.

DW and I rode together with no kids the one and only time we tried to ride, but we went in the offseason and the line was short. I don't know if that makes a difference.
